I'm a blockchain developer in Fort Wayne so most of the people I chat with are from Cali and they all pretty much agree that it's a mess there. You know there's a major problem when even the civil servants can't afford housing where they live. It is more laid back in Fort Wayne but I would hardly call it conservative, we were literally one of the first cities to get fiber optic Internet. Not exactly a big fan of any labels though, I think they just divide people and I would be willing to bet that no two people on this planet would agree on everything.

I believe my Two Great Aunts are still alive who are the Two Sisters of my Grandfather still have the family farm outside of Lafayette. My Grandfather grew up in Lafayette, Indiana went to Purdue for college then served as a pilot in the AirForce in Korea and Vietnam but passed away in a car accident when my Mother was only 8 years old in 1970. My Grandfather was a conservative Catholic and same with my Two Great Aunts who are still outside near Lafayette in a small rural town I am from outside of the state myself but the family farm is still there so I am curious to see how the farm is doing and would be interested in keeping the farm in the family once they pass. I want to come out there to visit the family farm and Get to go to The Brickyard 400 NASCAR Cup Series crown jule race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway I have always wanted to go so I will definitely be in Indiana at some point. Keep the conservative farm routes in Indiana 🇺🇸🤠 appreciate the good content brother, God Bless ✝️🙏🏻

NWI is blueish, but that's because we had Visclosky for so long, who would break party lines about 10% of the time to do what's best for NWI. We'll see if the the area has realized it doesn't really want to be mini-Chicago yet.

I’m in South Bend unfortunately but it’s even way better than Chicago where I’m from. We knew we wanted to get to a red state and am more and more grateful we did every passing year. I was hoping our local republicans would be active and proactive but they don’t lift a finger. St. Joe county went red in 2022 at least but I’m afraid we won’t be able to keep it that way.

Not necessarily at all. Fort Wayne has 3 top rated schools. Some people prefer a smaller city versus Indianapolis

I like Indiana overall but your roads are awful. I drive a truck and Indiana has always been on my list of the worst states to drive in. The roads around Indianapolis are particularly bad. I get that it's a metro area but you guys need to get it together.

Ironically its so trash because of the politics. Instead of funding shit, they bleed money on nonsense. At least places like Chicago, Milwaukee, St Louis have things to do and see and infrustrure that is constantly being worked on and improved. Particularly states like Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan, thanks to their Democratic governors, and the generational infrastructure bill passed by the Biden Admin. have but those dollars into good work. The Michigan Highways are looking better and better very week. The bridges, airports, and roads in Illinois are undergoing HUGE revitalization programs ushering us into the 21st century (24 years later). And Indiana is instead REFUSING Medicare/Medicaid funds. NOT improving infrastructure. I mean shit Gary, IN is a DUMP. Many small towns are dilapidated. And the only thing of any interest is in and around Indy. Which is quite sad. At least Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan have safe college towns. Notre Dame, a prestigious University, is minutes away from murders, buglers. and homeless. No place is perfect, but amongst EVERY neighbor Indiana shares, Indiana is MILES below ALL of them.
