I agree with most of your points, it’s been the same shit for the last few years Some of the aspects regarding the gameplay/movements I would have to say that with a bit of practice you start to learn the timings and avoid the in-game glitches (though you shouldn’t) As basketball enthusiasts we’re cursed with this shitty, money hungry, delusional ass developer - 2K, that is slowly loosing its grip on their community Glitches, crashes, bad gameplay, useless in-game features, horrendous servers - all sums up 2K… I am voting with my wallet this year and will refrain from buying 2K25 Even their most loyal streamers gave up on it and it’s a matter of time until everyone will NBA 2K’s downfall will be studied by upcoming developers and case studied on how not to lose a potential incredible gamebase to greed and incompetence

2k 2015 in my opinion but adding the classic teams to online interested me for about a year then I realized the game is made to fit modern play. Kind worthless when getting off a clean mid range shot is impossible​ 22 last one I played.@@Despicable_Gamer

2k16 is the best 2k globally (global as overall, not global as in world has two meanings) Now as a simulation I'd give it to the older 2ks like 2k11. 2k16 had great offline amd online play, the reward system was good(for the time), and it was extremely easy to level up your character f2p. As a yearly 2K player I can admit that the game isn’t perfect and has its flaws but there’s also a lot they put in to cater towards players like myself. Gameplay wise they made paint defense strong after it was abysmal in 2K22-23 and they made shooting more skill based so we aren’t making shots with our eyes closed like in 2K22. I get that VC prices for builds and clothes are crazy high but they do have incentives in the game that benefits grinders like daily quests and season challenges. I would consider myself an above average player with consistent people to run with and I’m making 70-100k VC a season frm these combined Quests w games played in rec/park. Now for an average or even below average player that maybe doesn’t play as often or have consistent teammates I can understand where the frustration is coming from. I believe this stems from 2K not being able to balance the community between “casuals vs sweats” or “skill vs casual” from year to year they cater the gameplay from one side of the community to the other.

I don't get why they still cap the attributes upgrades at 85 Ovr, they should just let us buy our way to 99 overall from the start, it'd be way less time consuming & at least they would be getting their money. Its a win/win.

Hey man, great video, I agree with most of your points but I wanted to address one thing you said about game journal reviews. I do agree, especially in years past and now for other games as well, that game reviewers are either paid off or generous/kind to mid and bad games because they wanna keep in the "good graces" of big corporate developers and publushers. But, I think the reviews for 2k24 are not "good" as you said, IGN gave it a 6, and it's at a 68 on Metacritic. Respectfully those are not good game scores, a 6 out of 10 is what you would give a mid game which is what 2k24 is. The microtransactions are horrid though and thats what makes the game suck. You should have picked previous years like 2k23 and 2k18 where the games are reviewed at 8 plus but have even worse user review scores.

They have for awhile my nail in the coffin for me this year is the “skill gap” they tried to implement is ass this green or nothing shot when they have such terrible latency online and offline so expecting the only way to make a shot is a perfect release is just stupid. I’ll shoot 30% with players like melo because the green window is super small and just always changing making the “skill gap” just frustrating

Who ever thought green or nothing to make a shot with their super inconsistent green windows shit bouncing all over the place makes this game unplayable if you want to play anything outside of mycareer. You must know every teams shot and it’s outrageous shooting 30% in a game because the green window is soo small that you just have a low chance of hitting it consistently playing with random players who have bad shots. If you have a slow shot good luck you’ll lose your green window 24/7

But this game is just terrible animation and terrible dribbling with realistic shot percentages that just infuriates you cause you feel like your green window is small as hell but you’re seeing another dude shoot 100% while a majority of their shots are 3s
