Watching this video makes me want to knock the dust off my RC51. One of my favorite bikes. Gear driven cams, the sound with high mounts... Oh yeah.... I'll probably just keep it forever because of what it is. Hard to find clean examples of them. Thanks for the vid guys!

@@BalancePointMedia I did! It's an 02 with an sp2 swingarm and scorpion slip-ons. Unfortunately they bastardized the livery and the wheels and windscreen.. And levers and grips. so I have to replace the whole thing to get it back to stock but for 3 grand I couldn't say no.

I have an 01 NIcky Hayden Replica with high Swept Jardines in polished aluminum and an 06 Sp2 that I stole with 244 miles on lt...It now has the high swept Jardines. Both are killer bikes and faster than most bikes light to light due to the usable low end torque!!!! #RC51 #RaceBikeDNA

The reason the 390s are blown cuz it’s a single cylinder.There’s a lot of Ktm twins specifically the LC 8 over 70k miles.

Oh no argument, We know the 390 is a single cyl and that created problems. It’s definitely not to say ALL KTM’s are bad :p

I picked up a 2003 for 6400. 17k on the clock, Lamborghini Orange custom paint, V&H full system, integrated tail, flush mounts up front and bar end turn signal ends. So by your vid I guess I got a good deal eh? 😁

Thoughts on the yamaha MT07? I have had that since end of 2019 and that bike is alot of fun tbh, and as im a 6.4 I cant use these racing bikes, breaks my body cause they are too tiny

Sheesh! Yeah the RC is probably more comfortable than other super bikes and Colin Edwards used to race one at 6’5”! I love the mt07. Was actually considering the xsr900 which is the cafe version with the triple over the twin but the mt07 is such a great all around bike. Total sv650 vibes and I’ve owned a couple of those!
