Doing the green house method every 3 to 4 nights could help as well just to jumpstart the moisture back into your hair. That's what I like to do sometimes between wash days😊✌

Selena Thomas yeah..it's when..you moisturize your hair with water, leave-in conditioner, oils...that's what I use, then put a shower cap and some sort of satin cap, scarf whatever on top of the shower cap to lock in the heat to re-moisturize your hair. I do it at night while I'm sleeping and the next day my hair feels soft silky, it will be wet at first, but just let it dry while you're getting ready it won't take long.. and boom you're Gucci 😊✌ and you don't need to get you're hair soaking wet just a little warm water to get started 😉

1. Stop touching your hair so much. 2. Not enough product on hair (apply on damp hair) 3. Not shampooing correctly. 4. Use a leave in conditioner (it’s a primer) 5. Deep condition regularly.

NOTHING works down here in this Arizona desert EXCEPT baggying/GHE! 😂🤣 Coming from Michigan I’ve learned the hard way...hard, lime water plus dry air caused me 6 inches of hair loss and copious shedding. From mid-back to shoulder length IN A YEAR! FINALLY got the water situation sorted now working with this crispy air. 😂 Shampooing, deep conditioner, leave-ins, oils, butters, water, aloe or any of the above as a mixture...this desert ain’t having NONE OF THAT! Sucks it ALL right out into the air. You’ll have super-defined hair that’s somehow dry as all get out at the same time?!? 🤷🏾‍♀️😂 How Sway, how?!? I carry a travel size spray bottle with bottled water in it to hit the curls as needed while I’m out running errands. At night, KCKT in another larger spray bottle, slap a plastic bag on the end of a banded ponytail, tie that down with a satin doorag and satin scarf...repeat daily or your hair will disintegrate down here!😂🌵 🐫 We’re looking to move out of the country and I’ve MADE SURE the new city is VERY humid so that I can attract water TO my hair INSTEAD of away from it. I NEVER had dry hair, breakage or shedding in Michigan, the water was semi-hard but there was plenty of humidity, so I know it’s not my methods that are the issue. Great vid!👍🏾💜

Another reason is a dry work environment and a dry house. Get some humidity in your house. Oiling your hair esp the ends helps keep hair moisturized and helps curb split ends.

i'm a male i do have to touch my hair little bit so i can put in the moisture and spray little bit of water on my hair in my hair mix it in my hair and massage my hair little bit i do hear most say give advice to massage our hair helps with hair growth and some say water helps with hair growth i think it's ok to touch the hair little bit while putting moisture i do agree don't touch our hair too much and i do love to drink alot of water i hear most say drinking water helps with hair growth i do agree with that i always love water it's my favorite drink we know water is good for us our health but what may work for some people may not work for someone else just like most say just do what works for you follow our heart gut instincts what works for some of our hair and what doesn't work for our hair because everyone hair is difference

You're always so informative and very thorough in explaining everything ❤️ I have a question for you. I went to get my hair washed and trimmed this past Friday. My hair was really weighed down afterwards, but I think it's because she didn't style my hair while wet. It was Dry girl! Lol So I waited all day for it to dry and it was really sticky and just unhappy, so I just shampooed my hair for the second time that day. Buuut I used a new line of products on my hair to wash and style it. It's now Tuesday, 4th day hair, and my hair looks really dirty. After my wash day, I only spray my hair with hair every single day. I have not added any more product because I'm always good for a week and then I restart my routine. So I don't know what's causing this. Do you think this was caused by the products? Or could it have something to do with overstimulation from Friday? I don't know. I did buy the products from Sally and I do have my receipt 😏 Please let me know what you think
@PowerInYourCurl
@PowerInYourCurl 7 жыл бұрын
Aww, thank you. ❤️ And not dry!! lol And from what you are explaining it sounds like it could either be that the products you use to style on your own don't agree with your hair orr there could be product build up from when the stylist applied so much product and you have buildup from the products she used and the ones you used. I would clarify your hair (if that won't be too much stress on you) and try products that you know work to make sure your hair is okay. Then on the next wash day try the new products again. But if the new products act up a second time you already know what to do with that receipt 🤑

If you aren't experiencing any hair issues if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But if you do have some dryness issues I would see how your hair responds to being clarified every so often. For me, it helps with reviving my curl pattern, increasing the shine and my hair just feels light and airy because it's been reset back to zero.

Is the Camille rose alo Vera gel butter that you mentioned a styler or a moisturizer? Do you like it better than the Mielle Brazilian moisturizer that you got from the hair show in atl? Moisturizer vs leave in conditioner? I don't style my hair... I just want moisture
@PowerInYourCurl
@PowerInYourCurl 7 жыл бұрын
For me the CR Aloe Vera Gel Butter is both a moisturizer and a styler because it gives a lot of moisture but also has great hold, which is great because you can use the one product to do two things. Compared to the Mielle Organics Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Cream, I think that the Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Cream is more moisturizing only because the consistency of the product penetrates my hair better than the Aloe Vera Gel Butter. If you were choosing between the two I think it comes down to whether your hair like thicker products (Camille Rose) or products that have a lighter consistency but still give great moisture (Mielle Organics)
