My staffy licks me for salt after I come back from work. But sometimes if he really needs me to take him outside and I am taking too long, he will incessantly lick me to say "Hey, I am talking to you! Hurry up!"

I mean if you don't like a dog that licks then don't get a Staffy, it's just a huge part of their personality trying to train it out of them just seems mean and not appropriate. By all means moderate how much they do it that's reasonable but stopping it completely?

@@samwatton2403 She has opened me right up.She stole my heart she stole my spot on the sofa she has stole my bed. But hey that is all good she is a rescue and she loves her new life. I think that she rescued me not the other way😄

@@garysnowden7461 ❤ Django is 10 now , I had her since she was around 18 months old . Not much energy these days but still the same unconditional love . She is currently snoring in front of the fire 😆
