I had 100% OT rating until my last dash pick up from Wendy's which took 4ever to fix the food. I contacted the customers & DD & explained that the food wasn't ready & it took 4ever. DD rep told me I'll be OK & my rating will not drop. When I got home I noticed my rating is 95%. I contacted DD & complained because this wasn't my fault. I have never been late. I had 100% all across my ratings! This happened 2 days ago & my rating is still at 95%🥺

I learned one thing about the rating system: it doesn't matter. I've got over 4,300 trips in ONE year (yes, over 75,000 miles driven in a year), and I was at a 5 star with 98% acceptance and less than 3% cancels. I was even taking CRAPPY rides to get that rating. I was LOSING MONEY big time doing it that way. I started declining rides that took too long to get to passenger. I started cancelling rides when people had sketchy reasons in the text messages. I wouldn't even start the trip: cancel. My acceptance is under 90% and my cancels are around 7% - but my rides are more profitable, by far! I went from making around $12-15/hr to around $25-35/hr most days. You have to not care about ratings and just DRIVE to the best of your ability. When you're waiting on food, cancel and move on. Don't be nice, just for a high rating. Take the hit and go get the money! Ratings don't pay you. The CLOCK is how you make money, so use it wisely. I'll cancel 3 trips back-to-back if they're too far to get to. I'll save the fuel for a more lucrative ride. Driving 15mins for a 15min ride means (if I get no tip) that I will make $7 or $8 in 30 mins...on MY gas. That's around $15/hr when you're using gas in that same hour. NOT worth it. When I did Uber eats, I would cancel orders all the time. I only have maybe 130 Uber eats trips because it wasn't paying me as well as Uber. Tips matter, and when you pull up in a big Jeep, the $10 tips come flying out. I've gotten $100 tips....$50 tips...tons of $20 bills stuck in my hand after a ride with the tops off. My rating sucks, but my bank account is MUCH happier! LOL! I'm still at a 4.98 with 88% acceptance and 7% cancels.

@Texas_Raised_ Texas _Made that's good money!!! $20/hr is almost $1,000/week. That's $52k, year...for delivering food!

As far as "stealing food", that's on the restaurant. That's not on the driver. I think you should send all of the restaurants that part of the video. LOL! If these restaurants are simply handing out food without checking order numbers and names, then they're not properly training these employees to hand orders to drivers. I wish Uber WOULD deactivate me by claiming I stole food when another person picked it up. I would sue for lost wages, the restaurant AND probably Uber for slander/libel by finding me GUILTY before investigating the process the restaurant employee used. I'm just not buying the "it's on the driver and you can be deactivated for it." You sue for lost wages and emotional distress a few times, I bet the training improves for them. LOL! They're not gonna take too kindly to losing lawsuits for falsely claiming someone is stealing, when they have cameras and employees who handed the food to someone that doesn't look like the ACTUAL driver that has the order number in their phone. Maybe Uber should match a FACE with an order number. This way, when a person shows up, they'll know a bald, black guy in a Jeep is picking up the tacos. Do not give the food to Shirley in the Ford Taurus. LMAO!

I was worried about this with McDonald's. They ask for the last 3 digits but they have the entire number displayed on screens that everyone can see. Anyone can go to the counter and give them the number and take the food.

This started years ago with Uber drivers... Then a couple years later Lyft drivers.... I've turned in these calls... It was under investigation with FBI

First video I've seen from you and now subscribed. All the restaurant's in my area require a name or last three numbers of the order. McDonald's is the best to deliver fast food and all upper level restaurants you need a big tip for the waiting you will experience.
