Something, I try and do with language learning is learn more passively, closer to the end of the week when I am running on fumes. I do not care what anyone says, study is an essential part of language learning and a necessary "evil" but it is good to try and make things fun and learn more passively when motivation and energy are going down when possible.

Omg why is it a relief to me that you are often late? Because I am too! 🙈 For me it's because I am always tryin to squeeze in more tasks to scratch off my to do list, even things that don't need to be done before I leave... I'd rather be 5 min late and get that thing done than be 3 min early and NOT get that thing done 😂

Thank you for some good tips. I think that you already know about the power of "incentive".

Great tips, we’ve also had a lot of success with moving the Instagram app off of our home screens and stacking cold showers with workouts! Also love the idea of having an accountability partner who fines you, will have to try that out given how effective it seems :)

Really great tips Liam. You also might have read Atomic habits by James clear. That book has helped me a lot about learning of habits and how to build good habits. Loving your content. 💯🔥

The cold shower habit is a good one and I’m always tempted to start it but when the time comes I never dare to do it, lol

Biting nails is the hardest bad habit to break that I have. I go for even 3 months without biting them but at some point I always fall again into it. This is mainly because it's often uncontrollable, you don't even realize that you're doing it, and you have your hands and so your nails at...hand, you know 😅😅

I un followed a lot of those gaming streamers that stream daily. They would appear in my KZbin Feed. I was debating on it for a while because, I enjoyed it but found it counter productive and distracting. I am more involved in the Language & Environment communities on KZbin instead.

did our parents or grandparents need "special recipes" to not waste their time? No. Did they have instagram and smartphones? No. Did they have other distractions? Yes. Do you need anyone to tell you "how to do it" and "read this amazing book"? Surely, fuckin' NO.
