My son had 87 Bayou 220 years ago and it did the same thing. It does have a spring. Two of them actually. His had broken i replaced both and didn't have any issues after that. At least until he dropped and bent the intake valve. Lol. But I'm sure your daughter won't abuse this engine like he did his. They are a great little engine. Tough as nails. Love the buggy. Keep up the wonderful videos! Much Love guys.

'm a newbie to your shows. I love the content and the great camera work. I did notice one thing that gets to me. Why don't you clean the motors before working on them? It prevents more dirt from getting in and helps find broken castings and missing bolts. You have a super clean shop, far nicer than mine and I'm now a subscriber.

I would say your pinion angle is lifting the rear end. In a normal car you want about 3 degrees of equal but opposite angle on your rear end and transmission. You can tweak that for optimum performance and u joint life among other things.

Is it possible you have too much angle between the output shaft and the rear end? Possibly lower the motor to get a straighter shot. Probably why your splines wore the way they did.

@yodaiam75214 жыл бұрын
If the battery drops below 10.5 volts, the CDI WILL NOT FUNCTION, thus, no spark. if you have a volt meter, you can do a load test with the battery in the bike. just place your leads on the respective terminals, set your meter to the appropriate range VDC and monitor the voltage as you crank. If it drops too low, recharge it, maintain it, or replace it. The easiest way is to replace it though in my experience. If you replace it and still nothing it may be the ignition box. Have you checked the plugs and fuses?
