Let’s be honest…the 1 star seemed he was actually working harder and running faster, he had more skill than the 5 star…no one actually wanted to tackle the one star if u notice the 5 star cruises and the defense just doesn’t give effort to make the play..the 1 star was setting up moves breaking tackles scoring whilst the Defense giving actually effort to make the play

Na, one of the defenses on Ruben’s film has a 4 star safety committed to Utah and about 5 other guys with a pretty good shot at earning D-1 scholarships. That’s probably gonna be one of the best high school games in the state this year.

That’s the main goal……..BUT………You’re actually highlighting why this new age “star” ranking system is FLAWED……I’d take the supposed 1 star player because he possesses skills I can’t teach…….You can teach the fundamentals all day but when you run across an athlete with those intangibles you can’t teach, you’d be a fool to let a star rating system tell you he’s not worthy of a shot……Secondly, this new age star system can’t measure the biggest tangible a player has……….Heart/Drive/Motivation/Testicular Fortitude …… Lots of these 4~5 star guys look awesome when they’re getting their way and nobody’s telling them “no” or wait your turn…….The moment real adversity comes, you’ll see how meaningless those ⭐️ really are………

Go Brickies! Just for some additional info Hobart is a class 4A school in Indiana. Indiana has 6 class 6a being the biggest and 1a smallest. So Hobart is middle of the road as far as hs population. Hobart is a historically great program. Most of there success came in the 80s and 90s but they were runner up in the 4a state title game a few years back. This quarterback is the best qb Hobart has maybe ever had. Profile him.

I agree wit most of what he’s saying both are talent but there’s one thing I don’t agree what he was saying that the one star can’t do all his abilities bc he’s not fast enough for the pros to even do those moves which is not true just bc you don’t have speed doesn’t mean that the moves you practice won’t work. As he gets older an work on his craft more than he already has it doesn’t matter y’all improve in even more skill while getting speed but also most running backs also need to make the first man miss in college and Nfl level no matter how fast you are if you can’t make a man miss then you also don’t have the intangibles to be a running back which lower level or high level you need to have that at all times to be a balance and polish running back all running backs and speed that has no skills to make a miss with history showen mostly they don’t make it I’m not saying if your fast you can’t make it I’m saying if you can’t put a move on sum one then makes you gonna do it in the next level

To be honest, not trying to be racist or controversial, but I feel like skin color plays a part in "observed skill". Such as a college may look at a black runningback rather than a white runningback purely because of stereotype and modernity. This is one such example, the NFL is another. Christian McCaffrey is the only white starting runningback in this day and age. Just saying, I sense some unfairness for white players in majority black position like RB. Please dont call me racist as I'm stating an observable statistical fact and not saying one race is better than the other.
