@@GeoffreySetiawan I broke her trust by texting her best friend that our relationship is a nightmare. I did a lot of self analysis and realized that most of our issues were caused by my emotional dysregulation. Now, I'm trying work on the "how" part of rebuilding trust and to make sure that I don't repeat it even in the most stressful of times.

That's a dick thing to say bro. The average American lives paycheck to paycheck and can't even afford a $500 dollar emergency according to statistics. I would die a horrific death if only for my wife but that doesn't mean I have $4,000 lying around when I can barely pay rent.

Sometimes it just doesn’t work because it wasn’t meant to be. I feel for you. I watched his videos too. Helped me get my 6 year relationship back on track, here I am on year 7 and she left me again. I’m tired and not going to go through all the hard work again. I know I broke the trust, I promised a lot and didn’t deliver but she also was rigid, difficult, and bossy. Unrealistic expectations to have me move cross country on a whim while my family needs me, Dad in his elder age, sister having kids I’d like to be around, job becoming extremely intense with opportunity to make a lot of money.

Hello Geoffrey, thanks for all that you do. :) I’m really experiencing a conflict in the principles you provide, would you mind giving a quick insight on a question? :) I don’t want to seem aloof by going the absolute no-contact route, but I have now ended a text conversation two or three times with ‘my door is open’ in some way, and every time, I have been the one initiating the next short conversation (she won’t message me for months, there are 2-3 months between me messaging her (because I don’t want to seem aloof, and don’t want to be pushy either)). It seems ingenuine if I - for the third time - say ‘my door is open’, and then end up initiating another conversation. Any thoughts on this concept? I’d love an insight from you. :) Keep up the great content, you’re changing lives. Best.

Hello Geoffrey, firstly I must say most of what you say makes so much sense and I really appreciate these videos. I wish I found your channel earlier. I have a question for you please. I have been taking your advice and asking many open ended questions from my partner and we spoke for hours and hours and hours over the last few weeks. It got to a stage where I currently understand my mistakes and my errors and I feel very regretful for my actions. I have expressed this to my partner and she knows I feel sorry and bad for what I did. I destroyed emotional safety and security in many ways. The issue is now where my partner has told me everything she needed to tell me a to z and I understand it but I don't know what to do next. After all these conversations I assured her that I understand how she feels and why she feels this way and why she doesn't want to be with me and I'm trying to change and help myself become better and never repeat these mistakes and make a better relationship regardless of what happens. She now has stopped talking to me as much and only speaks just to know how I am and I feel like I'm chasing and trying to start conversations instead of it being smooth and both sided. Even when we speak it's me speaking her replying short sentences or not paying attention etc. How do I convince her at the moment that I understand her and my actions and how do i move forward now with improving things, creating emotional safety after our initial conversations about the issues etc. How do I show her the changes in my mind. She keeps stopping me from speaking to her nicely or when I don't react in the way like I used to she says something like I know you must have so much anger towards me right now or when I call her my love Or wifey she says this isn't a joke this is why I don't talk to you as much because I don't want to give you fake hope that everything will be ok.

Keep going.. you sound attached.. you must detach.. I was there for 2-4 months.. then I snapped again.. but realize you didn’t do anything wrong at the time.. only in retrospect.. but we still have to have game fellas! Get a new girl!! See what happens!! Be UNATTACHED!! Tomorrow I’m going on a date.. yes I still love her more than anything else than myself!! I’m not gna be broke poor or horny cuz she’s mad at me!! I have always done my part including being loyal!! But we’re separated aren’t we? Women don’t hesitate to start something else during these times. Show her how much you have changed by accepting the breakup and move on!! In her face!! If she wants you back then she will have to do something. Otherwise you are “having hope!” So… dont! If she comes back then she comes back. Accepting your actions is just that. But maybe making yourself suffer isn’t attractive.. idk just spit balling

My wife and I have been separated since Jan14.2023. Accusing me of cheating on her with several women. I have been trying to keep the communication after watching your videos Mr.Geoffrey , as you commented to not to ignore her when she asks for space. I give her the space and still communicate with her but now everytime she goes out for the weekend or where she goes with the kids and she completely ignores me. No text messages except “ I’ll call you back in a few” ; I mean she does checks the messages but she doesn’t respond to me, just me because she textes everyone else. This which turns into hours or days But when she comes home, she answers my calls whenever I call her, and she responds to my texts. I don’t know what to do in this situation . She tells me “I’m sorry I was distracted” I don’t want to steer her away from me.

It seems disingenuous when he says he's only doing this to help people but the price tag makes it only accessible to wealthier folks or maybe someone who just happened to get their tax return as their relationship fell apart.

My wife separated from me after being married 10 years. She left 3 months ago despite saying she will make effort in mariage. She say i am too controlling, but i cannot speak with her. She does not allow me to communicate at all and just block me everywhere. I saw her briefly fews days ago when she came to pick up some letter as she changed job and did not inform me of it. She is not doing well mentally, she was really stressed and anxious and somehow see me as a problem when i do my best for her, and want to speak with her to see what she would like to change. But communication is almost impossible if i email her she get mad or if talk about our marriage too. I have no idea what to do. I leave her space several weeks few times but nothing. She was more willing to talk at the beginning but now since her new job she says she need to focus on it. It’s really challenging so i leave her space.
