I have a theory: Nala's father could be one member of Scar's guard. Maybe the keenest of sight. He is the most similar to the little lion cub on Rafiki's paintings. The fur is more or less like Kion's, the mane has got a brown color similar to red, and the eyes are green, similar to Nala's. It could explain why Nala's dad isn't in TLK, because Scar killed him, when he "destroyed" his guard. That's my theory. Do you like it? (Excuse me if I made some errors, I'm Italian. Ni, as Nala's dad, could be from a long time ago. it could be, but seeing him in the book, you see him as a teen. Nala is about 4 or 5 at the time. when Nala is born, Ni would be 10 - 12. it is most likely not Ni. but if u wanna believe that, I like it. :)

I literally loath the theories about Nala being Mufasa's or Scar's daughter. Disney would never try to make a incestuous relationship between characters they would risk their career. It is also confirmed that Simba and Nala were actually half siblings only in the original script but then they cut it to avoid incest, so they're not blood relatives.

It wasn’t actually cut because in the interview, the directors say that it is either Mufasa or Scar. and then in the lion guard episode paintings and predictions, Nala’s father was finally acknowledged. It confirmed that Scar isn’t the father but gave more evidence that the father could be Mufasa

@@TheFaIIenOne that's your interpretation not a fact. Disney confirmed that was cut and that Nala's father is not native to the Pride Lands so he ain't Mufasa neither Scar. And even if the lion cub in the painting was Mufasa then Rafiki would mention his name but he didn't. So that was another lion. Disney would never make an incestous couple, that would make them risk the studios.

Scar is Muffasa's brother. Muffasa had Simba, who would be Nala's mate. Yeah..that wouldn't work. Also, in a deleted scene in the Lion King, Scar was going to ask Nala to be his queen. Obviously they would know that they were father and daughter, and couldn't be mates. So, Scar's a no no.

Nala’s father can’t be Mufasa or Scar. In the lion guard, when rafiki shows a picture of Nala’s father, he simply refers to him as “Nala’s father”. If it was mufasa, Rafiki probably would’ve said something like “That was king Mufasa when he was a cub” or something like that. But he didn’t. And as for Scar, if you look at the picture, the cub has red fur, which we all know he doesn’t have.

My theory is when mufasa and scar or taka was born they played with sarafina and sarabi they are sisters btw and scar thought sarafina was gonna have a boy when she was an adult lion so she wanted her and mufasa wanted sarabi but sarafina had a girl which was nala so in this theory scar is nalas dad but I'm not done yet. Here's my theory. Scar is nalas father I say this because 1, as u know scar and mufasa are brothers of we were to base this on real life when there is more than one Male in a pride oftentimes brothers they both have dominance over the lions in the first movie when all the lions are asleep u can see nala being the only other cub in the pride so scary could've had dominance over serafina. 2,scar was leader of the lion guard and as said in TLG nalas father was saved by the lion guard and is now kions grandpa. 3,again In real life a young Male is to be kicked out of the pride when it has came of age so to prevent inbreeding, if simba and nala were half siblings simba would have to go to the jungle anyway.
