as someone who has the newer infotainment system, it's not too much better 🥲 sometimes it just dumbs down and won't let you switch from the BMW connection to CarPlay. I then always first try to reboot the infotainment system (press and hold the radio button for 10-20s) - if it wouldn't help also reboot the phone. happens like 2-3 times per season
