I had this issue with my z125. Brand new bike and i hit 225 miles and completely went out. Took it to the dealer said it was the ecu and its been a month since apparently since they’re waiting for parts on back order but im finally getting my bike back this week.

Good video I’m getting a 2021 z125 in teal color. I’m a family guy with 3 kids and a wife, not trying to buy something that’s gonna kill me. I did my research and this bike is gonna be my best bet for a commuter ( fuel economy wise )

I've been riding dirtbikes and quads since I was 6. I'm only 5'7 and 120lbs so honestly I can see something like the z125 being perfect for me

Hey there. I have been a [Off]Road cyclist for a long time and have always wanted a motorcycle. As I had never ridden on and also have hurt myself on a bicycle many times, I wanted to start of with something manageable. I bought my 2023 brand new and it's been so fun to ride and learn with. I'm just under 5'10" and feel very comfortable on it so I think it would be a nice fit for you. It gets great gas mileage and is a really fun little bike. Curious if you ended up buying one.

Bought my 2021 Z about a month ago, and just yesterday it wouldn't start up (566 miles). No spark, tried a new spark plug and still nothing. Guess I've got the ECU issue as well. Unfortunately I don't have any good Kawi dealers in my area, only one close by is run by a bunch of morons. Going to put the aRacer ECU in and see how she goes.

I got a 2017, never had any issues. Crashed it twice on the race track. I got broken, bike just keeps going lol! 14500kms on it right now, and will go up big time!

On my z I had put a led in their and they are great to have, and they are bright and if you have brights on it is sometimes to much, so I do recommend led head lights,

I had the ecu issue with my 2021 and good luck trying to tell the dealer that that’s what it is. It was like pulling teeth with my dealer. Luckily I was able to show them how they didn’t know what they are talking about and swap ecu’s with my buddy and show how it would ran… 🤞🏼 only had 300miles.

I have a 2017 and never had the ecu issue (yet). The only time it didn’t start was from a dead battery after sitting for 2+ years cuz of covid LOL…

About engine bolt, you have 125 cc and people are doing all kinds of mods to make the bike run like a 300 cc or 600 cc and cranking the hell out that small engine, what do you expect.

About 60mph from the factory for me, reads 66-67mph on the dash (reading high) when you run out of revs. No cruise.

I have a 2021 and my bike only has 400 miles on it brand new my bike doesn't start I first tried to push the starter wouldn't even respond after clicking it for awhile it tried to crank but wouldn't turn over im so pissed off

ECU not a issue. Buy one from a 2023. Mine is great. There is a certain years the ECU had issues. Not the 23 😊

The recalls where 2017 to 2018 is what Kawasaki says so I’m not sure about the other ones I think 2021 is fine tho but im gonna play it safe and get the 2022
