You are a truly positive person. In the short time I have spent in China I also saw many many positive things. Far more positives than negatives. You are a lovely contrast to that completely negative guy "Serpantaz" (Something like that) who tries to pretend he is balanced. About as balanced as a veteran CIA Agent. Its a wonder he has not done a Video criticising Toilet Paper in China. Not that I noticed any problem. It is obvious he spends all his time looking for negatives. A very insecure person. He is lucky they did not kick him out. Most nations would.

What is it like on a communist country considering you were born in a democratic republic? Did you see a difference in personal freedom? Were you treated better due to being a Westerner? Just asking.
@kevingonzalez36734 жыл бұрын
@Daisy Wong That could very well be true. I have never had a problem mtself in the states. Where I live it is 60% hispanic. Half of what you read is in Spanish. I am more interested in the political climate. The CCP is still in control and it is a one part system. I have known only one American to live there. There experince sounded ok at best, but she lived there many years ago. I have know many Chinese immigrants. I have not ever asked what there lives were lije before coming to the US.
@kevingonzalez36734 жыл бұрын
@Daisy Wong Not necessarily. Not to argue but all Americans share many freedoms. True there is racism but not to the extent that peple potray it in the media. It also greatly depends where you are at in the US. As I stated, whete I live, it is 60% hispanic and much is in Spanish. That is hardly racism. Now if you go to another more city or state where the majority of peoples are lets say white, you might run into some racism. It does exist. Unlike China, we have many many different peoples not just different ethnic backgrounds. I am sure that bigotry and racism exist elsewhere in the world. Not just here😊 Our past saw slavery as well as expansion into the West. Many peoples suffered eho were not WASP. Dispite this, this is truly a wonderful country. My family came here for better opportunities and it worked out for them. They are not all white peoples😉 China has a long and interesting history. Longer than the US.
@kevingonzalez36734 жыл бұрын
@Daisy Wong That state was Spanish and then Mexican. The US bought Texas from Mexico prior to the civil war. Remember my dear, America was colonised by European powers and taken from the Indians. Really it belonged to the indians in the area first only to be taken in the name of the Spanish crown. Mexico revolted against Spain and took Texas as their spoils of war. I did not see the Mule. Hollywood has a way of making things bigger and better for the movies. Perhaps it took place during more unenlightened times or in El Paso. El paso is a dangerous area due to drugs and Mexican drug cartel coming into the US. There are shootings at the boarder. This could take place on the boarder of Arizona as well. The American West was not really tamed until the early 20th century. Texas is a God fearing and gun packing state. Arizona has an open carry law. Guys still drive around with truck guns😊 the city I live in was ran by the mob until the late 80s. American corporations and the FBI forced them out and into jail. The US is by far not a perfect country. Many people have been harmed throughout the years due to US policy but dang, the fore fathers sure put a good constitution together as well as a bil of rights. I would not dream of living anywhere else. My father came from a developing country to this wonderful land. Life is better now than ever before. As a matter of fact, the kids got it too easy and the US is falling behind because we committed to globalization for cheaper labor and products. Whatever country you hail from, be proud, I know I am pround of mine😉
@kevingonzalez36734 жыл бұрын
@Daisy Wong You are correct. They did not envision minorities or women. This much is true. They envisioned WASP, but this does not mean that the founding concept of this country is not short of amazing. The true problem is that if you fo mot know your rights, you are likely to have them taken advantage of by the authorities. It pays to know your rights and have a lawyer on retainer.
@kevingonzalez36734 жыл бұрын
@Daisy Wong Everyone earns their freedom the hardway my friend. On my mothers side, I had many relatives who fought for this country. My step father served during the Vietnam era. None of those times were easy. Life is hard and everyone fights a battle that no one else can understand unless you walk in their shoes. This is life and all trials will come to pass as they always do. Children do not grow under ideal circumstances. They need to be challenged to grow into their potential. This is the same with a country. I live better than those before me. I have lived through seven presidents. I have not ever seen a time that our great nation has truley been at rest, but things have gotten better for the population at large. More minorities are represented in the workforce and in influential positions. This is not just a trend but the wave of the future. Some people do have it easier than others. I am not one of them. I have worked and studied hard throughout my life. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that my efforts guided me.
