The way he can feint with his lead leg to threaten an opponent with teeps, body kicks, and head kicks is beautiful to see.
@brucelawby31402 жыл бұрын
Its the ability to do damage with powerful, ultra-fast lead leg kicks that sets up the finishing punches. edit : after watching KZbin highlights of his latest fight - with what seemed like an outclassed opponent ,. his elbows are just as devastating . He's creating a force muliiplyer by sliding forward while delivering the technique.. Gabriels going out on a limb saying he'll beat Rodtang in the next (inevitable ?) rematch. I'm sure he's learned a lot since the last fight.

What impresses me about Haggerty's kicking technique is the speed and power of execution. Its explosive.

I love how he knows his own weaknesses. Like not following through with that Haggerty kick at the end. So humble and realistic about his own strengths and limitations. Well done Gabriel.

Likewise I am 36 and feel my age more than people can tell from the outside. I am just getting back into training though after a multi-year break. Time off kept me healthy till now. Using Mr. Varga’s tips to try and stay that way.

Shiiiet I get that at 30. I just train what doesn't hurt tbh. I got great at boxing when I hurt my shin and now do right elbows instead of right straights while my wrists heal

Can you do a video on Giga Chikadze, he’s know for his Giga kick which is a southpaw liver kick, he naturally stands in orthodox but switches mid fight. He’s kod multiple people in the ufc using it and also he’s done it in kickboxing beforehand

Play the clip on 0.5x speed, the front kick that sent Rodtang into the ropes wasn’t from the lead leg of Haggerty.

Luke Rockhold has the best ?mark-kick in the game, Joe Rogan has the best spinning back kick i've ever seen and Haggerty has the best standing downward elbow and his elbow game over all is totally stellar IMO
@pabloschultz51922 жыл бұрын
I got Adesanya on that questionmark kick as well. As for Joe’s spinning back kick; it’s an scary hard kick but it hasn’t been proven in highlevel fights like the other ones in the list have

he doesnt really have good technique and i think its intentional, you say he has good technique but man, he pulls way far back to throw a cross and like... it works for him, he can land it and it hits hard as a freigh train from the wind up but its not something id be reccomending to people nor "beautifull"
@brahamwijaya10393 ай бұрын
Why??? because he do feints in a sport where everyone from thailand is only punching and kicking hard without any thinking. Basically what im sayin is BRAIN OVER BRAWN
