Valentina shevchenko would also be a good option, her striking is so good and she's very well rounded. Thanks for all the videos, they've been very helpful!

Who would be pumped to see Holloway vs McGregor 2??? I would like to see that fight. Although I'd want it at 145lbs and I don't see Conor agreeing to the weight cut.
@champ1159

It can be at a catchweight, 150lbs. Max is quite small for 155

Max would oblirate him after round 2. And yes he can hang the first two.

I'd rather like to see Chandler vs McGregor to be honest, because it will rather end by a KO than by decision.

Gotta say that I personally would not be very excited by that matchup at all. Conor’s days as an ‘elite level fighter’ are long gone, and Holloway would smash him to pieces at ANY weight imho. Pretty hard to stay hungry as a fighter when u have a couple hundred million in the bank, and hunger is what makes fighters dangerous. Nah, bored of the ‘Conor show’ now, and he’s just crossed too many lines for me. Then there’s the leg...no chance.

Think Max’s striking durability comes from being a big featherweight ( part of why Poirier managed to hurt him) and his insane cardio, u see a lot of fighters go down more easily when they’re fatigued

@@stanclark3992 we really seen that in the rematch with poirier where he hit him with that counter right hook and he circled out and out his back to the cage when Dustin started taking shots he really had no idea what to do..or it didn't seem like it.

another thing he does is he often has his hands extended (sometimes hand fighting but often just fists kinda floating out in front of him). this helps him with 'speed' and volume. if the distance is shorter to the opponent then the punches dont need to be as fast in order to feel like they are coming fast. and those short punches also probably take a lot less energy. and it gives him added constant pressure (im sure its uncomfortable for his opponents to have his fist unusually close to them all the time) while still maintaining his reach advantage making the pull back counters easier to pull off. similar to how mcgregor always is pawing and posting with his lead hand.
@TurntBucket

one thing i think makes ppl durable too is endurance. you see those endurance fighters often have great chins. don't know physiology behind it but im sure there's a connection. definitely the later the fights go they are able to still react (see it, neck muscle reactions, etc) as if they are closer to fresh then most ppl. there might also be something going on with blood and oxygen flow to the brain but that im less sure of.

On the topic of punch volume, every couple of touching shots max will plant his feet and throw something hard. Sometimes it's a head kick or a lunging straight right to the body. You see him go for full stepping slashing elbows against Kattar.

First of all, thanks a lot for this amazing channel. A video about Rose Namajunas would be great. She does't seem the most powerfull and fast striker. Although it can be illusional of course, but her shots doesn't seem to be relatively powerfull. However, whether it's due to her foot work and/or any other ability, she is becoming more and more dominant in the division. It would be very interesting to have a breakdown on her style of fighting. Cheers

You always refer to yourself as 5’ 11” Gabriel, but I’m pretty sure that every fight of yours I’ve seen has you at 5’ 10”. 🤷‍♂️😀 Are you in slight denial, or what’s going on here bro, no offence (I think I basically do the same thing btw, because that’s my height too! Lol 😂). Thanks for another brilliant video in this series. 👏 Oh, I don’t think you’ve done Samart yet have you? I’d love to see one on him...past tense obviously, but he’s the true GOAT and deserves a vid imho. 🙏

That's because Yair Rodriguez is no joke. One of the best strikers in the division since like 2012/2013, but his poor grappling has haunted him (he's also not been very active and has had a USADA suspension)
