I'm turning 18 tomorrow. I think my biggest regret is not doing enough in my teenage years. One thing i heard somewhere that really helped me is “It’s weird that people think you need to start dating as soon as you are not a kid”. You have your whole life ahead of you. You don’t have to worry about finding a romantic partner so soon. Most relationships in high school don’t last very long after high school anyways.

Apartments aren’t the only places to live in at 18, there are also houses. You just need more money for a house. It’s super expensive compared to apartments, but as long as you have tons of money, you should be fine. Why are people focusing on apartments only? Those places are so small. I live in an apartment right now and it feels like hell.

How can a teen afford a house? Unless you’re in a fraternity, sorority, or have multiple roommates it would be easy to afford for a while :/
