Here's a tip: You can trade for Raw Meat with the Argosy, use that Raw Meat on the Motley, and then you'll receive Dango Tickets. If you add 99 Raw Meat on the Motley, you'll get 44 Dango Tickets. Rinse and Repeat until you have your desired amount :D Raw Meats are cheap to get with Kamura Points, so this is the easiest and fastest way to get those tickets.

One neat interaction is in the Ibushi and Narwa items. For example, if you wear full Ibushi armor and equip a Narwa weapon with Narwa Soul rampage skill on it you'll get a 40% affinity boost on any weapon. Likewise, if you try to use purely Narwa armor and weaponry you'll lose the affinity. So they outright draw attention to the fact that Ibushi and Narwa are mates down to their gear.

unfortunately both armor sets make you look like a balloon animal and they suck in terms of skills Not to mention you have to devote your entire build to it, anything less and the Ibushi/Narwa Souls just don't work And the fact that they have NO DECORATION SLOTS means that more often than not, running literally ANY other set would be better for you. Heck, the Ibushi Soul gives you like a +30(?) Defense, and the Narwa Soul gives you +40% affinity What else gives you +30 Defense or better? Level 4 Defense Boost. Which is a +5% boost to defense with an additional flat +20 (more often than not, that +5% means that will easily take you over the pitiful +30 defense that Ibushi soul has to offer) and in addition, it bumps up all of your resistances by +3, which is normally reserved for a 5-set piece bonus. Then that +40% affinity, that one is a bit trickier to get your hands on, being only able to usually grab it from Critical Eye level 7 But there's already a tree that has at least 30% affinity by default, AND BETTER SHARPNESS. Almost any Nargacuga series weapon would be a better option than any of the Narwa weapons. I wish that their weapons and skills were good, but mechanically they suck and are so bland in comparison to the other more interesting sets. Magnamalo gives you Hellfireblight that you can use to stagger monsters by leaving it behind with a horizontal wirebug, Mizutsune's Bubbly Dance gives you Bubbleblight that can increase your evasion... So why the hell does Ibushi and Narwa, who are currently the two final bosses of the game, NOT HAVE ANYTHING NEARLY AS INTERESTING AS ANY OF THOSE MECHANICS?! Why can't Ibushi's set produce a damage reducing/flinch resisting shield of debris like he does in the rampage? Or why can't Narwa's cause weapons to deal additional Thunder damage (regardless of element)? Why did these incredibly hyped up bosses receive such lackluster sets? Sorry for the rant.

In regards to the farm route. When it says locale info has changed. Check to see what it is. I did a 45 min run cause it just kept switching between mining outcrops and local items. So i just bounced between the two routes without leaving the exposition

A handy tip I have is that when you complete a quest and get a freeze-frame of the final hit, you can actually remove the watercolour effect by pressing Y. Super handy if you got an awesome shot But the critical hit distortion is ruining it

Just as a heads up, in the video when going over ramp-up skills you try to get the wyrmstake boost rampage skill onto the fully upgraded cornpopper. This actually doesn't increase its damage at all, wyrmstake boost does not have any impact on max level (5) shelling gunlances so adding it to the maxed out cornpopper doesn't actually do anything because they already have the max damage.

I’m just saying, the Dango Dual Blades are SO GOOD, upgraded to the second stage gives you 190 attack and WITH attack boost III it gets you to 198 on just the second stage 🙌🏻 plus the sleep element is great The cat-aclysm Palico (and Palamute) weapon is also fantastic like he said, I’ve noticed monsters usually fall asleep at least once during a hunt. I run them on my Palico and Palamute!

Another thing when doing a rampage siege make sure to note which monsters can inflict elemental blights or status ailments since if you managed to get to wyvern ride them they're an easy way to achieve targets such as "inflict elemental blights 12 times". Also don't forget about aerial dunking those elemental barrel bombs too!

The palamute version of that sleep weapon is more powerful if you run it with the umbrella weapon those dogs can have. EVERY hit with that spinning umbrella has a chance to proc a sleep hit. I have, with multiple monsters, sleep bombed them twice in 30 seconds. The blunt effects of KO damage also apply, and better with the knockout king skill some of them can get. My record is 4 sleeps on magnamalo in one hunt with only the palamute having a sleep weapon, umbrella, and the attack speed buff scroll.

A lot of people don't know about the blast spots in the volcanic area. They are marked on the map and if you wyvern ride a monster into it. It deals massiv dmg and causes water blight or fire blight deepending on the spot you ran into

For the first tip, can I put a skill from the later trees and rollback to a weaker weapon with the skill intact? EDIT: Nope, you can't. Ramp ability is removed on rollback. EDIT 2: Quite frankly there are very few weapons that can benefit from this as most ramp up skills peak at the end of the tree. The Jyuratodus LBG can get Attack Boost III from the Bone tree previous to it. It's raw was already high but it goes up to a whopping 217 with the Long Barrel. If you guys could find more weapons that benefit greatly from this Ramp up quirk we should make a spreadsheet or something.

As far as I've seen,wyrmstake boost doesn't seem to increase the damage on level 5 shelling weapons so isn't really that great a choice on them but is a great damage boost to anything with level 4 or below. This seems to be due to level 5 being the cap for shelling damage in the game right now so there's always a chance it'll change later if capcom introduces level 6 or about shelling in any of the updates or in "rise ultimate"

Protip for endgame, in any map that has a Prism Spiribird(Rampage, Arena, Final Boss), make sure to switch to the Demon Petalace to get the maximum amount of attack you can from the Spiribird. Seriously, it's a permanent buff of an additional 20 raw that you get at the very start of the quest. That's going to trump whatever you get from the other petalaces.

Dango Tickets don't give you a 100% chance to get food skills. They add 40% on top of the existing chance. Everything below 60% will not get a 100% activation chance with a Dango Ticket. A great way to get Dango Tickets is also to purchase stacks of Raw Meat from Rondine and then just letting the cantine cook it for you. You're rewarded with about 45 Tickets for a stack of 99 Raw Meat. EDIT: Spelling

While I do prefer using palico, if you REALLY know the map and if you actually know how to use your palamute, the palamute will be faster. People often underestimate the jumping ability of the dog and how you can even use that as a springboard. You can also easily mount/dismount if you need to use great wirebugs or go up elevations that the dog can’t jump.

When you're in the village, especially as you progress through the game, be sure to hit that - button to bring up all the places you can fast travel to. Often, there will be a yellow speech bubble that shows up in certain fast travel areas, when this happens it means someone either wants to give you something for completing a quest, or they have a quest for you.

I don't have any tips like that, but I do have a general tip for weapon use: When you are in the training area, experiment which moves you can use after others. For example, some people love the longsword, but there are some combos that they aren't using, either because they don't bother or they don't know them. The Iai sheath can be used after almost any attack, so don't hesitate to figure out which ones. Leaves you far less open for a beating.

There are a NUMBER of frankly silly combo paths people don't know about. For example, on the Switch Axe, usually when you do a full ZSD you're forced into the blowback and recovery animation, but if you're using the Soaring Wyvern Blade silkbind, assuming ZSD didn't drain all of your phial, you while you're in the air from ZSD's blowback, you can SWB right at the monster and get another massive explosion off on it. Good stuff. Some more combos: ~ Switch Axe's "Switch Charger" silkbind doesn't really give you a whole lot of time to do much of anything. Except specifically when you're using the Compressed Discharge switch skill, as it provides JUST enough time to morph attack out of Switch Charger into sword mode, which will give you just enough time to get off a COMPLETELY FREE Compressed Discharge. ~ Morph Attacks with the Switch Axe are busted. Most people look directly at the regular morph attacks, but when using the Forward Overhead Chop switch skill to replace the Poke, a BUNCH of options open up. Any overhead chop-type attack (sadly not counting Invincible Gambit) including the standard standing overhead chop, the Heavy Chop out of Wild Swings, and the Forward Overhead (which is stronger than the standard overhead chop, is a forward-moving move, AND a draw attack) can all morph into the Rising Double Slash sword attack, which is the last two X attacks you do after a Heavenly Flurry to get that Triple Slash, but on auto-pilot. It's good damage, leads into Triple Slash, and any variant of the standard Double Slash, including Triple Slash and Heavenly Flurry, but not counting the Double Rising Slash morph attack, can follow into a morph attack into the Double Sweep in axe mode, which is legitimately one of Axe Mode's strongest attacks along with Forward Overhead, and can be enhanced further with the Rapid Morph skill, as can Rising Double Slash. This opens up the busted Axe combo: Draw into Forward Overhead > Morph into Double Rising > Triple Slash > Morph into Double Sweep > Forward Overhead > Repeat ~Longsword's Serene Pose silkbind (the counter) can actually be followed up with a shortened Spirit Combo, helping to counteract somewhat the fact that it consumes an aura level. ~Hammer's Spinning LV3 in Yellow Charge gained an extra combo path in this entry. When pressing A after the Super Golfswing out of the spin, you'll do another hammer hit, which IF IT CONNECTS WITH THE MONSTER, can press A again to be followed into the LV3 BLUE CHARGE ATTACK.

Heres a tip or two, to unlock each weapons skillbind you must craft/upgrade a weapon of that type 8 times before Utsushi gives you the non-quest silkbind skill. If youve just started the game, Sell all of the starter weapons you dont plan on using, pick 3-4 you wanna keep, sell the rest, youll get about 5k to start you off. Use barrel bomb explosions to trigger silkbind counter moves. Break Goss Harags back in multiplayer damnit! i want my Bile...unless its bugged, because that final upgrade for his hammer is really bothering me. and finally, STOP CAPTURING MONSTERS IN HIGH RANK!!! :D

If you get the ramp up the affinity in the kamura GS before upgrading it to the Abominable Great Sword, you can get -9% affinity instead of -11%. It's min maxing sure, but it's a thing to consider lol

Wyrmstake boost does not actually add any dmg. the purpose of wyrmstake boost was to boost the dmg pre-max form. but at the final form already has lv5 . and that is where we are currently capped, and you get no added dmg.

The Egg Hammer has absurd raw but only yellow sharpness and negative affinity. Pair it with Bludgeoner 2, Attack 7, and Mind’s Eye 3 and you hit for some absurd damage.

I was really skeptical reading this but I theory crafted it and it's actually extremely strong. I'd recommend only mind's eye 2 though because you really want to avoid hitting parts that take that little damage regardless. Armor: zin helm tobi chest tigrex arms anja coil ingot legs any wex 2 talisman 3x attack decos 7 1 slots are free for any niche use The efr is equivalent to about 8-9% *more* than narg hammer at 100% affinity, white sharpness, and 2 crit boost

I haven't tested it with hammer yet but be aware that Rise is really really weird about yellow sharpness, at least with my swaxe testing. I found that on yellow sharpness on the training dummy, if you didn't hit with the sweet spot on your weapon you would lose like 40% damage. I wasn't able to get it to happen on green sharpness but also I've only tested it on swaxe. I'll get to it myself soon and I'll post it here or you can go test it yourself if you're feeling impatient.

Best way to get dango tickets are like you said, by using the motley mix. What you left out is how many you get. You get half the number of whatever you have made. Say, for example, you cook 88 pieces of raw meat to get rations and steaks. You'll get 44 dango tickets from that one order.

That's one of the switch skills you can unlock. I don't remember if it's from the "create a bunch of weapons" unlock or the HR quest, but you can swap out the ZR+X skill for it. It's very cool and very powerful. And combos really nicely with ZSD

@@nandadhairyaputra8681 yes. Once you are launched off after the discharge, you can use ZR+X to dive back into the monster. If it connects it sets a little delayed charge that does big damage. It's awesome and lets you skip all the "cool down" after flying off

as far as im aware you can only get the best talismans out of the Wisp of mystery Meld rather than going for specific ones. in addition it gives you 5 chances instead of 3

Cat-aclysm Knell is pretty good for sleep, but for group hunts I prefer paralyze so to me the best Palico/Palamute weapon is the Felyne Jelly Shade S with 150 dmg and 12 paralyze.

Summary: 1. Rampage skills will carry over between weapons upgrades, useful on some cases. 2. Using dango tickets increase chances of getting dango skills, in order to get tickets, buy raw meat with kamura points and cook them in the kitchen. (More in reply)

4. The silly weapons you get as reward from villager requests are not useless, and some are actually good. The mighty compooper is a good gunlance, and you can use the rampage skill transfer to keep the good skill.

5. Using double palicos is a good setup, especially the gathering one since it can collect monster parts, 2 gathering palicos are great for farming.

Question about transferring skills: If you upgrade a weapon to get a certain rampage skill and then roll it back will the rampage skill remain on the weapon?

Not sure why I never thought of the rampage skill transfer, as I've inadvertently done it before. Like transferring attack 2 when the next rank has attack 3. If I had 2 brain cells to rub together, this should have informed me that you can transfer them.

This makes me wonder then if I can take a higherlevel rampage skill from one weapon, downgrade it and upgrade it to another connected branch. Your example would show: take a diablos skill over to the Pukei-pukei gunlance. Would make for some unique skills and abilities?

If you are looking for a seemingly broken HH weapon, GaijinHunter made a video pointing out the Rampage version and how if you level that up to Max, you can make a hunting horn that can give you and your team “massive heals” every time you attack twice. In a way, it seems like that is the only “good” rampage weapon of the 14. At least from what I could tell. Hope to make the other 13 weapons by the end of the weekend.

The rampage horn does more than just that support build. Also probably the best dps option since you can get white sharpness, attack up and affinity and with better raw than narg. The healing horn is overkill with my friends but great in hunts with randoms. I see it all the time when I’m doing random 7star rampages.

I was under the impression that the two palicos can only be used in the low rank single player pussy quests. The actual quests in the gathering hub only allow one palico, even if I don’t have other players join.

moonbow talismans can come with higher level skills. all other methods (except rebirth) cap the skill at level 1

I have seen people throw items aimlessly when you can use the wirebug reticle to make sure the item hits.

Somehow I noticed the rampage skills not going away even on weapons that can't normally get that skill. My first thought: Use "kinsect level boost" on a weapon that already has a base level 8 kinsect. I wanted to see if level 9 kinsect was possible. Sadly though, it caps out at 8 and was pretty much a waste of a skill. (Later decided to do this again but for the paralysis version since it ends with a level 7 kinsect, which can then be raised to 8)

Regarding that Ramp-Up thing, can you also degrade a weapon then re-upgrade for the same result? Or does it only work upgrading?

I didn't know the skills carried over when you upgraded a weapon. If I understand correctly, that means one can take a fully upgraded weapon in one tree, grab it's good rampage skill, downgrade it to a more basic form and then upgrade to a weapon you do want, effectively dragging a skill from one branch of the tree to another? nice. gonna have to give my glaives a good look at again.

I think this specific case does not work, downgrading out of a tree does remove the rampage skill.

Copied from my comment: Edit: well that sucks. Apparently you CAN'T simply get a rampage ability at the end of a tree, roll it back, then apply that ability to a totally different weapon. What he's saying is that it has to be in the DIRECT linear progression from one tree to another. Ergo: no taking attack IV or affinity IV from a weapon, rolling it all the way back, then upgrading to your final diablos weapon and slapping it on. It has to be an ability collected from the very first bone weapon, all the way down that direct latter to your endgame diablos weapon.

Wyrmstake boost does NOT work on lvl 5 Shelling Gunlances as lvl 5 is the literal maximum as of now. That's why all the lvl 5 Shelling Gunlances replace the Wyrmstake Boost Ramp-Up on the final upgrade.

That is literally NOT transferring rampage skills to other weapons. All that you’re doing is taking a skill through one weapon’s upgrade path, that’s it. Don’t say you can transfer them across weapons when you can’t.

I am excited to get Brutal Strike on the Diablos CB, as it has much more green sharpness and more negative affinity than the Goss Harag CB, great for a Bludgeoner set. Losing a level 2 slot is sad, and means I won't have Guard or Guard Up possible for my set right now, but big damage :P

@@Chris-wr4jy Rajang is very good, especially because it starts in Bludgeoner bonus range, but I want the potential for bigger damage. Brutal Strike makes some negative crits into super crits of 1.5x damage. The rate seems to be about 20%, so not a great rate, but I want the big numbers, as I want to see how high I can push things. It is not necessarily about consistency for me. Also, the Rajang CB disturbs me visually.

Tbh its a bad recommendation to use points on the motley mix over zenny. In 10 min, you can farm roughly 10 times the amount of zenny as you can points, and the motley mix costs about 2 times more zenny than points, making it 5 times (or 500%) more efficient to spend zenny than points. Other than that and the dango ticket not always being guaranteed food skills, which other people have already commented on, everything else looks good 👍

Easy azzuros sleeping. Fight then capture then take picture of it sleeping captured before u get sent out. I did it and it worked
