It's a testament to how good a player is when you're finding so few videos of them getting knocked back. Eben is obviously an incredible player but as this video shows he's not invincible. I've tried to stay clear of cheap shots and bad tackles

Lots of times Etzebeth got handled, the autumn 2018 game Sinckler decimated him and in the recent autumn the replacement French scrumhalf dumped him, honestly they all get dusted. Sinckler got smashed by Marx in 2021, thing is Etzebeth wiil get smashed get up and then continue to dominate the game and the other players, he's powerful in the initial contact but his biggest strength is post contact he applies a lot of brute strength with an element of endurance, ragdolls everyone to the ground and is a nightmare in scrum and maul.

Seems to me in most of these Eben is off balance - the Hooper 'hit' is anything but, more a sneaky lift timed well as Eben is in his stride. Also, the fact is Eben just takes the hits and does not moan or cry foul. He has always been a credit to SA and the type of player who wins them a few points before the match has even started and the opposition has learned he will be playing.
