It's a blunder because we can't come back from it, while hikaru can win even when he is 6-7 points of material down, so it's not blunder enough for him

i know Hikaru is probably Best Player Online, but almost all the times in these situations the Opponents go to last 5-10 seconds and then Blunders happen while Hikaru plays Accurate Bullet!

True. There have been instances in classical games too where he's made draws from losing positions, but they're rare because, as you pointed out, time plays an important role in these cases.

The problem is, they have to use that time. If they don't want to get to their last 5-10 seconds then they need to play quicker. But if they play quicker the quality of the moves will be lower. Managing time well is a skill.

@@Viraj_Soni I think a lot of times people underestimate how Hikaru complicates a position. He always tries to create imbalances and if he is worse but has a shot at putting time pressure, he make moves that enable the opponent to have too many "good" moves. Which results in them spending too much time calculating and then running out of time and blundering in the end, because they wanted to play to perfectly. Hikaru is a master of this kind of play.

Well, I don't think magnus rarely has bad positions. If you look at his online games, it's almost all intentionally playing some stupid opening in order to play a fun game so there's usually about -1 or -2 on the eval bar at some point

The opponent has to blunder their advantage in order to take back the game... Granted the player should be able to seize the opportunity (this is important too but it can't be done if the opponent plays accurate)

Cause of Bh3 and then c8 promotion, leading to white being up a bishop. Maybe you can even promote c8 first and then Bh3 Edit: just realized Queen takes Bishop with check if you play Bh3 so obviously you should promote first and then Bh3
