I think these videos have shown just how smart of a player Adam was. He was able to control the game by controlling the targets through subtle moves like this. Winning immunity a lot woulda put a target on his own back so he let people win for him while controlling who would lose. Sure Adam did win one immunity but when it came down to it he didn't need to win challenges he just had to control who did.

People always discredit Adam’s win because of his story, but I think he deserves a lot more recognition for being a great player. His edit is kind of unique, because the editors didn’t try to hide his mistakes, so I think lots of people don’t realize he was a genuinely great player. He managed his three level really well, had an amazing final tribal speech, and like was shown in this video, he was really smart and strategic.

As opposed to the challenges where people have to balance on perches that favor people with small feet. Or the kind where they have to carry something heavy that favors people with upper body strength. Or water challenges that favor good swimmers. Or the one where they are on the perch and have to fill the tube with water(ie f4 Cagayan), that favors people with long arms so they can reach the key even if the tube isn't filled all the way. Every challenge is going to benefit some person more than another, hacked or not.

Man that season started off so strong, might have had the strongest pre swap/merge to any survivor season I’ve ever seen but Christ Dave (Won’t say exactly how far he got in case someone who hasn’t seen it ventures down in the comments with us) just demolished them all and made it pretty boring once it hit the mid game to the end with all the effects of his moves lol. Also some major decisions from the other tribe really ended up benefiting his game unbeknownst to them all but there’s always that in every season obviously. But godamn, you should not be Boston Rob level dominating to that level like the season when he won, against other actual returning players many of whom were great strategists and manipulators themselves. Really wish Luke, Benji and Sarah said yes when they were approached and went to spice it up a bit more and replace some of the blander players. That would have made for a better game

I think that the reason challenges that seem fitted for someone’s profession is hard for them, because it’s usually made to play out in a faster and informal way you’d be used to. It’d be less effective in the real world to heard goats like that; or a basketball player that’s used to a court, failing in the water.
@RWHEEL073 жыл бұрын
I remember watching Survivor: All-Stars in DVD and there are commentaries with some of the castaways. They competed in the arm up and handcuffed to a bucket of water immunity challenge. Episode 13. In the commentary, she said she strategically chose her left arm to be handcuffed and raised because it was her non-dominant hand and would therefore not shake as much when strained. She went on to win that immunity challenge. Is that considered a hack?

Not slipping Nick the tribal council advantage wasn't very smart though. The advantage literally said it was good for the next 2 tribal councils only. He didn't play it in the previous tribal council, so that's one left and the fact that his tribe had immunity meant the advantage was now useless in his hands.

Yeah but all challenges have “unfair”advantages like when there’s a pro basketball player for a throwing challenge or when there’s someone who swam in the ocean their whole life in a swimming challenge.
