The very first season, the one guy (the naked guy) realized that both of the remaining people would rather take him to the final challenge than each other, so he just sat it out and enjoyed some food while the other two fought it out. He ended up winning the whole thing. Brilliant strategy.

Hatch would have lost if he won the FIC but kudos to him for realizing that especially in season 1. If he took Rudy to the end he loses, and if he took Kelly to the end he wouldn't get Rudy's vote for betraying him. He had to hope for Kelly to win FIC and that's exactly what happened.

My favorite hack is still from the original season's final immunity challenge. Richard realizes he doesn't have to win final immunity. Both other contestants will vote each other out and keep Richard in for the finals, figuring they can beat him in the final vote. So, when offered a chance to quit, Richard takes it, and then the million.
@MisterDarren4 жыл бұрын
Furthermore, Richard realized that if he won, whoever he voted out would vote against him in the finals. That one swing vote (Rudy) was crucial in winning the game, and setting the tone for Survivor.

drink15 I recommend watching it so you fully understand. But how the game works for the most part is; it starts out in teams typically three and they all compete in challenges. The team who loses has to vote one of their members out. It’s a survival game where people have to build their camp and do basic survival things some seasons the survivors are struggling with food and not eating. The challenges are split between prizes (like food and such) and vote out ones. Once the end of the game happens there are three contenders left and everyone that left the game or was voted out vote on who they think should be the winner out of the three.

JT was robbed in that challenge. He actually solved the equation correctly using the proper operator priorities, not left to right. I was super disappointed in how the show fucked that one up.

Like...in a maze challenge, would you be allowed to start climbing walls an going over, or would Jeff call you off? To what EXTENT, I'm asking, can you be allowed to hack a challenge? Is it "hacking" or is it cheating after a certain point? If so, where's the cutoff point?

I have watched several behind the scenes videos of survivor and Jeff gives explicit rules (do's and dont's) off camera. Otherwise most challenges would be a free for all.

Honestly, smart method for those who can't memorize things easily. Personally when I saw that scene... I didn't find it that impressive because I can easily memorize things short term.

I loved seeing the Amanda love! I loved her in every single season, and it is weird to think about a Survivor world where Todd or Parvati were not winners. But, I really think if she had made it to the end in HvV, it would've been hers. Her challenge game is SO underrated. She is so smart and doesn't own it! She is such a smart player but she still lacked that killer instinct. Alas - she has moved on and she seems happy. She will always be a legend.

All-Stars (Season 8) - Build-a-raft challenge. Winning tribe just left the bundle of bamboo tied up, sat astride and paddled like it was a canoe. Much faster and more maneuverable.
