Hi Paul! I loved the snow effects with the masking fluid, I want to give that a go. I have masking but haven’t used it much. I found this helpful for ways to test it out. Also the abstract trees were brilliant. Loved that technique and can’t wait to give it a go! Thanks for sharing.

I live in South Florida so I’ve painted my share of palms. I use a couple sizes of filbert brushes for the fronds. I hold the brush perpendicular to the paper. They hold a lot of paint so you don’t run out halfway through the frond. By rotating the brush as you go you can get some nice variation of the leaves.

Oh my gosh Paul I am in awe of your work and techniques that you use! I watched your grasses tutorial first and couldn’t stop there so moved on to trees!
