thank you Sergei. I love your tips series. about "Create Layer" - 2:52 - there is a shorter route - just right click anywhere on or under "Effects" and the Layer style or styles will give you the option to create layer or layers.

Foe the last tip i got a better keeping the original smart object. Simply select the layer>edit smart object>select the canvas by ctrl/cmd click icon>crop selection>save as file you want. You will keep the original smart object, works jst a bit faster then your method

Very useful stuff guys. The only one I would differ with is the Tip #5, I would instead right click the layer, and select "Duplicate Layer...", then from the drop down list select "New..." This way you don't have to rasterize, or copy and paste. The only thing are the dimensions, but that can be solved with a quick CTRL+Click, (C)rop, enter. I just avoid rasterizing as much as possible. Thanks for posting.
@ukramedia10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! It is definitely a good practice to always duplicate layers.
@grantvz9 жыл бұрын
There's no need to CTRL+Click a layer if it's already rasterized. With the layer selected just select all (CTRL+A) to select the entire artboard > then copy and paste. This will create a new artboard with the correct dimensions.

Little mistake in tip 1 - you said "now if you're a PC user, just hit SHFT-CTRL-OPT-E" but it should be ALT and not OPT.
