I don't know of a better way to submit a product idea, but have you guys considered making a blowoff arm for the brewbuilt fermenter that has a pressure rated shut off valve built in? That way you don't have to remove it and put a cap on the tc port, you can just go straight to spunding

Need your opinion, I'm hung up on the fact that Vito doesn't look like a Vito. To me he looks like a Paul (take that from a guy named Carl). What do others think?

Great tips, I recently learned the hard way about taking notes, I made an all-grain Amber Bock that was amazing. Everyone who tried it could not stop drinking it. I did not take good notes and have not been able to reproduce it.

I find temperature to be as critical as sanitation. I live in the desert, I use and old refrigerator with and external temperature control.

I did 4 extract brews before I went all grain. I never went back. After 15 years, I've stuck with it.

If grain dust is a potential contaminant then would you recommend wet milling instead?

That should keep airborne dust particles down and it's what Sierra Nevada and other big breweries do. But it's a little harder with equipment available to homebrewers as it's not designed for it. So I just try and do it away from my cold side equipment and close the garage door etc when milling. Another point that got lost in translation or the edit I was trying to make, is how you do anything is how you do everything. Meaning I've seen brewers not care as much on keeping their mash tuns and hotside equipment as clean as coldside. Like I said, sure you're going to boil and kill any bacteria. But if you're willing to compromise on proper cleaning of any equipment that's not a good sign. Again, how you do anything is how you do everything.

@@MoreBeer_ Thanks for that. I've brewed ~ six batches in my deluxe starter kit and have been happy with all of them. The Club DAZE Black IPA was great! During those brews I've come to think using yeast starters and having better equipment for fermenting best contributes to the end results. I'm brewing 5 gallon batches but would be receptive to more volume - the set-up and clean-up is a lot of work so why not make more? That being said I'm thus far partial to the BrewZilla AG580 kit which you seem to be persistently out of stock. Make me a kit like that and explain to me why I need all of those parts and I'm a buyer. Drinking good beer has become very expensive - deciding to make your own is an investment but is a lot of fun and worth the effort. Thanks much!

Go as inexpensive as possible. A Brew in the Bag system will meet all your needs. I went to that after the cooler method. We have a fella with a $2,500 system in our club that brews the worst beer month after month. Spend that extra $$$ on grains.
