Thank you for the reminder! I have a bad habit of listening to podcasts while working and I have a note in front of me, NO MULTI-TASKING. You push a lot of my buttons but I need and want to hear this. I'm changing slowly but surely!

Thank you for watching! The only way change happens is one small step at a time, you are doing great!

I'm in the process of a career shift. I've been at my job for about 4 years. My focus previously was about putting food on the table, and now, it's shifted to doing what makes me happy. Let me tell you, this new path of doing something I've never done is long, and I've found myself trying to hurry up. I'm ready to embark on this journey already, but there's so much to learn, and I'm learning that the actual learning is maybe the more fun part than accomplishing the next big goal of leaving my job. It's a battle, but I'm trying to let go of leaving RIGHT NOW, but rather, learning right now. 😅💙

This is exactly what I'm experimenting every single day. When I write my to do list I start rushing, because I feel the urgence to finish, to feel relief...I think I will be happy, but it never happens obviously. And I can't establish priorities because the point is not what is urgent... but to complete everything. The result is to feel overwhelmed, exhausted and depressed. Sometimes I have a job training and the deadline is in one month.. and I have many other things to do. But I complete the training immediately in few days/hours,, as well as the other tasks. And I can't stop till I have finished. Or... if I go to the office I'm always there one hour before and always before my colleagues. These are only examples but... you got the point.. Thank you for this video❤

Very helpful! Great tips! Thanks for being open about your struggles on this channel. It's good to be reminded that everyone that shares advice and tips isn't doing it because they are perfect or have it all figured out. Oftentimes, it's someone who struggled with similar things, learned valuable tips along the way, and decided to try to help others!

I listen to your whole video, hoping to hear about what i’m experiencing, but I did not. As you mentioned why we might be rushing I was hoping that I had an epiphany or at the very least realization, but that did not happen, due to the political status of the 2024 and the last several years inflation has almost quadrupled, causing my husband to work two full-time jobs so that we can stay a float. That means the rest of the household work falls on to my shoulders. Aside from the cooking cleaning planning shopping, etc.. I am finding that they’re just is not enough time in the day, and that is a reality, thanks to the inflation problem. I’ve never had this problem before and I don’t mean to get into politics, although this is a reality and there are several of us have got to get things done. Planning the food shopping buying the food cooking the food, feeding everyone and cleaning up after is not something new, however, with my husband out of the house, I am doing it all on my own plus all of his chores. So the rushing is a necessity in order to get things done that have got to be done or there are consequences. If I don’t pay a bill on time, something will get turned off or canceled. Things of that nature. Thanks to the current political administration. We are struggling out here. That is reality.

#help m b.a student I have significant apprehension about my studies. I often feel that I am not made for studying and worry I won't be able to continue. Although I know I must study to live an independent life, I struggle because I am a slow learner and dislike studying. I find it hard to sit for long periods, complete topics on time, and I have a phobia of exams. It takes me several days to finish one chapter, while others complete it in much less time. I need constant help from tutors but cannot afford their high fees, and there are no coaching centers for B.A. students in India. I feel dependent on tutors and doubt my ability to succeed without them. Can you help me improve my mindset and suggest ways to overcome my dependency on tutors? I need to develop better study habits and routines.
