Enjoying the harvest videos, we finished corn in August, now working on peanuts and cotton down here in Georgia. It’s fun to watch how things are done in different parts of the country. To Dougo, we have a 2001 Peterbilt 355 with 8 lug aluminum wheels, so they are out there, just not many of them lol.

I'm not 100% sure, but the wheels on the front of the ol KW are probably some of the first hub pilot wheels, they were made in 8 bolt since the hub carries the weight, to get around the patent the other companies just stated making them in 10 bolt. You can get 8 bolt hub pilot aluminums but you won't like the price.

When I drove truck I used to take a milk crate and set a full size crock pot in it to keep it from flipping over . Later I got a small crock pot like that when i was by my self . My son was with me most of the time . Great for soups hot dogs roast BBQ boiled Pnuts .

Yep Dougo old wagons. We had a horse drawn wooden wagon my grand father bought, my uncle made it so you could pull it with a tractor. In the end before we retired it in the late 70’s we ground feed for the cows and kept in it. No flats on that thing and you never went faster that a slow walk with it. Lots of good things about that old wagon, nobody wanted to steal it and you never had to have a ladder to look inside just climb up the old wooden spokes. Things was a lot slower then days but we got it done to.

Imagine a 50 bushel homemade gravity box made out of big old road signs, and a 15 bushel box in the back of a pickup. Keeps up fine with our combines a JD 12a and AC 66! Not many acres done in a day, but we still get er done. My grandpa was cheap, my dad cheaper, and well I'm probably the cheapest haha. Keep up the great videos love them!

Chet your so lucky to have a "best Buddy" like the Big Swede ! My Best buddy Gordy Died of cancer in 2013 and he had helped me on the farm for many spring seeding and fall harvests after my father died in 2008 before harvest , your lucky to have a bud like the "Big Swede " this fall was my last harvest as I need 2 knee replacements and 2 hip replacement's and a rotaor cuff repair after falling of a ladder because one of my knee's said "NO"" !! I know he had to have been your "rock" with the death of Nicole ! nust 65 year old farmer from southern Alberta Canada
