If the OP of the first story is reading this - I just want to say it gets better. I have schizophrenia and the first few years after it started were rough, can’t lie. Ahhh I love listening to these while driving at night. Funny story. I have a Bluetooth receiver device that allows me to listen to audio in my car from my phone. In order to use the device you need to set it to a specific radio frequency, and so sometimes it can completely swap audio signals with random cars that are on the road with me.... maybe they're using the same buletooth device? Anyways, one night, around close to midnight I was driving home and listening to horror narratives on youtube. And then suddenly my audio swapped and some random song came on. After a few seconds the audio just completely shuts off lol!! This means the other driver must've caught my audio and was wondering why in the middle of the night, on the road would such a creepy thing just come on lol

As a person on antidepressant medication for 2 years now. The first story really hit home. Its really hard for us to acknowledge that we have problems mentally but getting treatment literally saved my life. So to all listeners who are experiencing mental hardships right now, it is alright to seek treatment. Remember that our brain is also an organ, and organs like our heart, stomach etc should be treated always for diseases. Thank you for sharing OP's story

There was the added layer that due to the origin of the corpses and their reputation of poor human rights, that the deceased did not necessarily VOLUNTEER for their fate to be on display like that. There was even some genuine speculation by those more in the know that it was done to curse (if one was superstitious) or insult those it was done to. Still. I do own a book from that exhibition.

I feel for the guy in the first story. I had a breakdown after caring for my mom who has Alzheimer’s while working full time. This was before Corona, like right before. Now I’m so incredibly burned out that I spend my days off sleeping, listening to Let’s Read, or both, and taking care of my pets. I’m at a breaking point and can barely put one foot in front of the other without feeling exhausted. I’m a shell of the person i used to be. I don’t have any hallucinations:; nothing like that. I’m just in a chronic apathetic state and my soul is tired. This channel keeps me sane and I’m grateful for that.

I’ve seen the horrors of what caring for loved ones with Alz/dementia does to the living. It’s never easy. You really need to find somebody to talk to, or at least mention it to your doctor. You may need medication to help bring you out of it, but talking about it is crucial. I know that’s easier said than done when you’re in such a state though…been there…still kinda there myself if I’m being honest. I wish you the best of luck in finding some peace again.
@SoCalRegisteredNurse2 жыл бұрын
@@GeneralBumpkis I do talk to a therapist weekly and I take Lexapro. I could talk about it for hours but who wants to listen? And if you’ve ever noticed when you’re going through a tough time people tend to disappear on you, and it leaves one feeling more isolated. I used to lift weights four days a week with an upper/lower split and I loved it. This was prior to mom. I tried to continue but she couldn’t be left alone. I just joined a gym last week and I don’t care if I go on the treadmill for an hour, at least it’s something. I’m from So Cal and live in WA now and the weather just does not agree with me at all. I like to garden but not when it’s 30 degrees out. I know this will pass. It’s just this year has been particularly hard for some reason. We’ll get through it ♥️
