Thanks for the insight. I’m doing the 5 Valleys too, my first Ultra! Do you have any idea of what time are you aiming for? I am doing my first recce next weekend, Ambleside to Legburthwaite (20m) 🙂

@@burrianaUK Evening. It's our first ultra too. We have a few goals the main one is finishing 😃 Realistically we would be looking to take our time and be sensible as possible. Under 12 hours is a good place to start. Are you filming your Recce? We are going to Recce from Hartsop to Thirlmere in two weeks and film so hopefully it will prove useful.

@@runtothetrails - I will film bits, but only on the iPhone. I’m not really sure the best way to edit things, and don’t have a GoPro, so it’s a bit hit and miss! 😀
