When I was kid I would look forward to a bowl of cereal and Saturday morning cartoons. Your content on Saturdays has filled that void in my life.😂 🎉🎉

Marty, my favorite player by far is Eddie. I have practiced some of these intros and complete songs. I really appreciate your lessons and each one of your vids and tips I have noticed each of your vids gets better and better! I enjoy all of your content but look forward to EVH the most. Keep them coming, we are watching my friend!

Thanks! I realized this after a bunch of people pointed it out. I think that's pretty cool! Everytime is see footage of Mick playing it from a live show it reminds of my EVH! 😎🎸🤟🏻

Great, easy to follow lessons, well, as usual. And just all great songs. Sadly, I just broke my arm, so no guitar for 6-8 weeks, bummer... Could be worse, so, I'll just keep watching, enjoying, and getting ideas for when the cast comes off. Got to build up grip strength and coordination after, and what better way than jamming some Van Halen...

Marty ! Another great video as usual !! Maybe you could do a video on the Van Halen licks on the abridged version of “Hot for Teacher” from the 1988 Les Paul Special appearance ?

Question... you do a great deal of getting into what makes Eds 'tone'..per say, and you do a heavyweight fantastic job of it, however, I think that one of the most overlooked factors of that tone were the SPEAKERS in his cabinets & of course how they were micd. Different speakers in exact same cabinet will give drastically different results, iow, tone. For all the Ed tone chasers, I think you could make a great series on that alone... just the speakers & how they are actually, imho, the missing ingredient that so many overlook. What do you think?

Hey Marty love the channel, listen I just dropped some big money to me anyway on 2 notes opus and revolt, now I'm looking to get 4 pedals to compliment that setup, looking at budget stuff.. tc electronic pedals, ever use them, there is cheaper stuff but nervous that the stuff will be junk any thoughts on some budget brands...

Dude not sure lol! Just minutes before I filmed this I was getting fret buzz on the first 3 frets so I loosened the truss a bit and raised one side of the Floyd (low e side) about a quarter turn of the allen key. It's pretty low to be honest.

@@jarmohanninen2891 these EVH relic Frankie's are really great sounding guitars. They have a mojo about them. I think it's the necks.
