For those still undecided, remember that the most difficult part about running is stepping out from your home. After that turning point, you are already a true winner eager to take any challenge in life.

This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzbin.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

This video rocks. It seriously is so inspiring. I love how you started it with the principal of running every morning but took it so much further than that by explaining the importance of being thankful, setting goals, reflecting, and self image etc. I have been running every day for about 2 weeks. Right now I run 15 min slowly jogging and stop, but now I want to push myself to go 20 minutes. Nothing beats that runner's high! Also, anyone who happens to be reading this: have an amazing day!

@@volodya9792 I've heard both sides of this argument. There is a strong point towards running daily as it is easier mentally to just decide to run daily than to pick some days to run. The habit is built faster and there is less mental agonizing when every day is a run day. I agree training hard daily is not the best as you need to recover, but I do trust that humans are built to move daily and if you are listening to your body when it says hey today we need to slow down into a light jog or a much shorter run - or run on a softer surface today, then the hope is no injuries will occur while still encouraging or allowing people to get daily movement. :)

I am a runner. I’m 20 years old, I’ve dedicated nearly 5 years of my life to fitness and running so I gain confidence and a better outlook on life. At school, I didn’t have as many friends as I believed. I thought that I was the problem and the reason why no wanted to socialise with me. But I no longer think that. I found running and it filled any sad emotions. It’s running that gave me the chance to move on one and seek new challenges in life. I thank running for making me happy everyday and glad that it gives me the chance to influence others to try something different in their lives too.

Last night I stayed up all night not being able to sleep, and when I looked outside around 5:00 AM it was already getting brighter. The sky looked so beautiful, a mix of orange, pink and blue covered with little white clouds. I can’t remember seeing the sky like this since I’m rarely awake around that time. It really caught me and gave me this mixed feeling of hope, melancholy and motivation, I can’t really explain it. As I was looking at the sky while listening to music it really urged me to stand up, leave the house and just run. I ended up not doing it, clinging too much on to my daily routine. I regret that, so I’m going to wake up at 4:00 AM this night and just go for it. I don’t know but I think running in the morning can really help give you a boost to step out of your comfort zone. At least that’s what it feels like to me, considering I’ve been putting off working out for a while now, but this really made me *want* to go out and run instead of avoiding it.

Running is beautiful in the morning. Like you feel calm and it’s like ur running on the moon. When running u experience things around u when u run far out to other places, and i know it will hurt and u have to push yourself. When you run it’s like u go from a destination to another without knowing. Jog at a good pace, breathe and u will feel relax trust me. This video explains it and I’m just summarizing it. For runners out there I hope your reading this and hope this makes sense.🙏🏾

yes this video is absolutely true, every must should run daily in the morning for better feeling, better confidence, for stronger bones and stronger heart and also for good health but please keep in mind don't run beyond your limits either, what i found for last previous 10 years of running, over running like 10 miles daily, will make you feeling tired and also there are high chances you will make yourself injured i think daily 3 to 5 miles running is enough for overall better health

Normally, I workout at the gym through the week. Today I did my first workout at a park, something I've wanted to incorporate into my fitness regimen. Now after watching this I want to go for a morning run before church. Never did that before, just always imagined it. I'm usually on a stair machine, elliptical or treadmill. This should be fun...I'm so excited. Thanks for the motivation.

I'm going to ramble a bit, read if you want... Every morning before school at about 6:00 I get up to run three or four miles before school (I'm a Highschool student) I feel amazing after running, like I'm on drugs, it's like energy to me, I no longer yawn, and the things I've noticed are incredible... like one of my neighbors just got back from the hospital with triplets, I wouldn't have noticed that if my face was shoved in my phone as my dad drived me to school. And there are tons of benefits, my school mile is 5:10. Yes I know there's better runners, better times, I don't do it to get a better school mile, I do it because running makes me happy, it's like saying I like playing Soccer because it's fun but over the time I get really good at it and my legs strengthen. 99.9% of 17 year olds aren't like me, but we have one thing in common, Friday night were so excited because tomorrows Saturday, well the average 17 year old might think VIDEO GAMES, what I'm thinking is... "Oh Sweet more time to get in my run, I think I'll get up at 4:00 and lets see... tomorrow I'll shoot for 8 miles..." To sum this up, running is my life.

Thank you. I needed this. I had a falling out with my 25 year old daughter and i equated running to my daughter, so i gave it up. When I realized she hasn't even checked on me with covid-19, i realized she is done with me. I went for a run today. It was nice. Thank you. I listened to this before my run.

When I was 15 I ran cross country for my school sure the workouts were grueling and hard yet I kept coming back to it because I loved it it helped to make me feel alive it took me away from the rough times at home and at school and gave me a place to not just belong but a place to challenge myself to become even better I just always knew that if I could make it one more day that things would get better and they did at first it was hard but it was worth it for the past 5 years I just haven't had the time or motivation to run yet I still take a daily walk now I'm 20 and finally getting back into running oh how iv missed it and finally after watching this video I want to go running again thank you for this inspirational video.

I love running. The weather is what contributes to my lack of motivation. I love to run outside, but if it's too cold or too hot, I can't. Being on a treadmill in a gym is just so boring and especially during the long winter months, I tend to fall off my habits.

While running there's a lot that goes threw my mind, mostly positive and some negative but this is just a great way to keep me motivated. I've been running for a year & you would think I would be ready everyday but you need to have the will & drive & this just helped me put it in perspective of what I really want. Thank you! I really enjoyed this ♥

I've been running 6 yrs, and I've completed 3 marathons, but I can't get used to running in the morning. I feel groggy during my run, and tired the rest of the day. I feel energized, and clear headed during my afternoon runs. I'd like to do this in the morning, but it's not working out. Are some people just wired to run in the afternoon or is it a matter of habit?
@Yourworldwithin8 жыл бұрын
Great question. Not sure I have the response you need. I personally know some people who prefer to stay up late and sleep in. Others, like myself, go to bed early and wake up early. It's just when i feel most productive. TomAto/tomato if you ask me :)
