I’m so much better barber thanks to you bro. If barbers aren’t subscribe to your channel, I don’t even know how what the hell they thinking. I already have all the students in FTCC. That half guard technique is freaking 🔥🔥🔥
@adrianflory45165 жыл бұрын
So as a barber I know how to cut and hearing you articulate these methods gives me more confidence even though its shit im already doing. I feel like your videos are insanely beneficial to even the "no it all barber." Your super good with words and just being able to say what you mean, most people cant do it effortlessly the way you do.

I’ve been using the half guard closed instead of the open taper and it’s so much more effective and efficient thanks for that advice it saves me a few minutes that i can use later to detail
@khaiharrison18885 жыл бұрын
Yeah i bought a wahl designer on clearance at Sally’s and it cuts way better with the half guard. With my fast feed i use the open taper that seems to do a good job

To take out the #1 guideline, I use #0 half, it knocks out the line super easy and fast, little to no flick out.

First comes courage and then self confidence and courage is the action part of your teaching is courage cause you turned the camera on and started talking then comes self confidence by being able to keep doing the videos and make the videos better and better and being this is real passion it becomes viral and then people start to notice and then you become professional and a master of your art and always remain teachable 😅 we all learned from each other and I have some gems 💎 to drop and I’m working on my content as we speak 😅 and I’m impressed with the way you teach is very inspiring and uplifting and your always being honest with how these tools work together and by themselves and I understand now and see exactly how to learn all over and this old dog can learn new tricks 😅.

I've been a barber for 10 years and have always stuck with the Andis master system that you explained. It's always worked great and I love it! However just restcently I got the Wahl 5star senoirs and have been trying to get used to them. Until I watched this video and applied this method of using the half gaurd, I'm amazed at how much it works so well with the blend! Thank you for your videos! You explain very well! These videos are the equivalent of expository preaching to barbers!

Now i'm testing this method: i start my guideline with closed taper, open taper, mid taper; then 6mm, 4mm, 3mm. it's giving me nice and quick fades . I like to mix both up and down techniques =)
@Richardvanburen5 жыл бұрын
Thanks like always for the Video! the technique i have found to work the best and quickest for me is to use my detachable blade clipper to put in my guidelines trimmers or 00000 for the first guideline then the 0A for the second guideline and then the 1 1/2 for the third guideline. as you know the detachables are very powerful and more precise in my opening for guidelines because of the shorter blade teeth. i then go into the fade with adjustable clippers usually fading from the 0.5 line down to the 0 line then from the 1.5 line down to the 0.5 line. doing it this way helps me not get lost. I use the Andis Supra ZR2 Andis GTX T Outliners and the Wall Magic clips mostly and now and then the Andis masters. But everything i having learned has been from you and other youtube barbers so thank you very much!!!

Hey Eddie great job. I think ur fade scale is great if ur cutting from top to bottom or bottom to top. I think where it gets confusing is the open taper attack. Yes it’s color coded but why not make a specific fade scale just for that type from bottom up.. so instead of skin, trimmer/00000, closed taper ect.. the fade scale shows... skin, trimmer/00000 then open taper on up. Exactly how u do it. I think it would help a bunch. Keep up the good work

Your videos are still helping me out even after barbering for 7 years there's always something new to pick up! Just one thing about the fade scale do Wahl's really work from closed to open or do you need mid way as well? If you don't need mid way that will speed my fades up no end! Cheers

All of your techniques work well and I know cause I’ve tried them all and the one that I use the most is fade up fade down and then I also use trapping the fade. I have my own style I throw in with it and that comes from the no handling method freehand tilting and use no other techniques I have mastered them and all my tools. I’m always looking for something new and unique and practice on the hair I know I can finish fast 💨. The clipper over comb works great and covers a lot more ground than any guard and saves time and that’s awesome 😎 so any chance I get to use it I attack 😂.💎💎💎🔑💎💎💈🦾💎💎💎🙌💪💎💎🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Eddie you have amazing talent and videos and they are and will always be relevant for our industry.
