Just by the way everyone, vegetables and fruits do contain carbs! A zucchini for example has 6g of carbs each! It's important to research all these matters for yourself before you take on this lifestyle or judge someone else!

im really happy to have found your channel... im vegan, gluten and soy free... so these have given me great inspiration and broadened my food choices..... its soooo hard to find both gluten free and vegan guidance here on KZbin... I do have a recipe you might like... its for zucchini hummus....3 small to medium zucchinis... ½ cup tahini...2 -3 garlic cloves...2 tbsp olive oil...1 tbsp lemon juice or more to taste...1 tsp salt or more to taste...1 tsp cumin 1 tsp chili powder or a drizzle of chili oil, dash of cayenne pepper, (you can even add roasted red bell peppers in for extra favor) ..steam your zucchini and let cool...then blend all ingredients in a food processor still smooth... lasts about a week in the fridge and is awesome over zoodles!

I'm so glad to have found your channel as well. I've subscribed. Loved the video it's fun, inspiring and delicious. I used to have a lot of health problems (and still do occasionally if I'm not careful) until I found out about my food intolerances. I'm allergic to corn, wheat, eggs, dairy and strong citrus fruits. I often look for gluten free and vegan suggestions but I have to be careful because some form of corn is in almost everything, including a lot of gluten free products. Although thankfully, gluten and dairy free alternative products have come a long way in the last decade or so. Both in flavour & texture quality. As well as now a lot of soy-free options like coconut & almond. Unfortunately, I get easily overwhelmed with all the conflicting health info, plus feel domestically challenged so I often resort to a lot of the prepared products that are probably still not that healthy. So my health still fluctuates. Your dog is adorable. Obviously very loved and happy. By the way, when a dog exposes its vulnerable belly like that, it's a gesture of respect and submission to it's Alpha/You. Like a pack wolf to the Alpha wolf. Again, thanks for the inspiration

Greetings from Sweden! :-) I just found your channel and have only seen this episode, but I will say I enjoyed watching it, you seem to be a very sweet person and also well educated in this field. I have studied nutrition and wellbeing for many, many years, but just started eating glutenfree and veganfood a couple of days ago, so I'm now searching for nice recipes to start off with, and you gave me plenty of inspiration in this episode, so thank you for that. :-) And to all those who argue that you are not getting enough of this or that: since I have studied nutrition for about 25 years now, I can say without a doubt that you are getting SOOO MUCH more nutrients through what you're eating, than the absolute majority of the worlds popluation is getting through their food! Protein and carbs and all that... We dont need as much of those as people seem to think we do, and the best source for it are organic fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. And superfoods! So keep up the good work! :-)

If you must be gluten-free, I'd suggest against eating oats and red quinoa (white quinoa is ok). Both oats and red quinoa have shown in recent research papers to create celiac-like symptoms to those who are gluten-intolerant, even if they don't themselves contain gluten (cross-reaction).

Salmon is a healthy fish :) It's packed with nutrients, minerals, omega 3 fatty-acids (and those fatty acids are crucial for the brain and the body to function optimally and are strongly linked to reducing the risk of many diseases). However, if you're vegan then go for it. Everyone rows his own boat. Peace x

Found having cooked rice in the fridge and plenty of fresh Vegas that I could stir fry made a quick meal. Also always have boiled fruit cake on hand. Easy to make. Just bring desired dried fruit plus oil and brown sugar to boil and let cool. Sometimes add grated carrot or zucchini or pumpkin to mix. Then add gf flour almond flour and bake. Makes a good snack if you are going somewhere. Also you can add seeds and nuts. I found Molasses makes a good flavour too. It’s quick to make and freezes well.

Your recipes are so good and I love the ingredients. I'm gonna try them. Can't wait. My only problem is that you could choose better looking fruits and veggies. It matters. The lemon you put in your water was ugly. The avocados you made smooth had lots of black stuff on it. The bananas were spotted black on the peel. I know sometimes with fruits and veggies, sometimes the inside can be pretty in spite of the ugly skin but still it's always better if you could pick ones that are good in and out. Jbh.
