"Old, crappy videos" Most insulting thing I've heard IMO. Your older videos were legit brilliant. The perfect mix of actual review and humor, even if the humor was sometimes more subtle. Now it usually just feels like I'm watching PBG with the lolsorandumb isnt it funny guiz XD stuff you do. I still watch your videos, but if I ever feel like going and watching ProJared I will 9/10 times turn to an older video, they are much more entertaining then your newer videos, which in my opinion completely lack the charm that made your older videos so damn good. Congrats though on making 5 years, I hope for many more.

Totally agree! The humor feels like it's aimed more towards children now. I don't like how KZbinrs these days think they have to speak in a nauseatingly fake tone or else their audience will be too stupid to get the joke. Jared's old videos had good humor that didn't have to resort to dumb voices to be funny or insightful. On a more minor note, I also miss his one minute reviews

While I think Jared's aged the best, it's the jumping off point before he became more proficient, and because of that, he notices the small details more. Ever since, you've become one of my favorite KZbinrs. Your reviews are just so fun, unique and memorable. You're amazing :D It's really funny to see you taking a look at your old videos. I'm a hard critic of my old work as well, Jared. It's hard to be comfortable with choices made long ago because they are inexperienced and unrefined. Without bullsh*tting, your older videos are decent. I can still go back and watch them without cringing, which for a lot of other reviewers, or just KZbinrs in general, is not the case. Yeah, they might be worse than the newer ones, but Two Worlds is really good for a first attempt. Heck, it's even better than most videos of reviewers that have done plenty of reviews.

I always felt like the only issue with Projared's older videos was that there were too many nit picks; most without punchlines. All he needed to do was cut out some nit picks and his videos would have been fine. I think it's really well made and since you have a personal connection to it, what you say and do in that episode feels real. I've re watched it many times because I like it so much. I remember watching Screwattack all the damn time and Jared was always my favorite. When he took over as host of Hard News, when he was on Sidescrollers, Terrible Thursdays, Control Issues, the one show he did with Lauren, it was all great! After he left is when i really realized how much of an impact he made, because I stopped frequenting the site all together due to just a decline in quality ever since his departure. I found out about his KZbin shenanigans by complete accident about 2 months before he left and really enjoyed em. To this day he's been one of my favorite KZbinmen. Jared, i've been watching you in one form or another for probably 5-6ish years. Keep kickin ass and being such an entertaining guy! Here's to another 5-6ish more!

I subbed to you initially because of your 1 minute review of Monster Hunter 3U which I thought was funny; and stuck with you after that because your content is consistent in quality and well edited.. +Ren I agree with TheBatlechicken and say you've made a great choice. It's not Chrono Trigger, but it's still a very solid game. It's got a strange battle mechanic to learn, but once you get past the fact that it's just matching elemental weaknesses, it's actually pretty fun (once, I had a dream about the game's battle mechanics since I really got into the game). Also, the game has my favorite video game soundtrack ever. :)

Man, you're being way too hard on yourself. I guess that's kind of a necessity if you want to keep improving your craft, but think of it this way: There might not be a lot of us creating things of our own, but we watch a lot of KZbin-videos, so we can recognize something good when we see it. That means that every subscriber you have thinks you're awesome (myself included)!
