Hey Emily. I am going back now to see your earlier Vlogs as I had never gone backward but just now as I have found out you are gone, I just wanted to learn more about this sweet spunky strong lady with her awesome partner. I was aghast to see that you were eve younger than I thought. I am so sorry you are gone and at so young and I feel horrible for Aisha, but You did live and you did so with spunk and honesty and humor and you shared your self with the general public and getting to know a bit of you and your life on here was Brilliant. You and your relationship with Aisha was beautiful and while it is awful that you are gone, it was so lovely that you were here. I hope you are happy and exploring the next thing. God Bless and God speed.

YourMadTourGuide I couldn't have said it better. I only learned of her last week, with Aisha's announcement, and have been falling in love with both of them backwards. She had much to share, and even though I'm old enough to have been her Granny, I'm learning more about grace, just watching. I'm so glad to know she was in the world. and so sorry she is gone...but I'm carrying her in my heart...as I know you all must be, as well. 💔💕

I saw you on the Cancer Diaries programme and then found you on here and am working my way through some of your back Vlogs. I hope you have recovered now from your last treatment and Florida doesn’t feel like it was too far away LOL! It's unlikely that would have been a course of action considered, melanoma spreads with the blood and can manifest anywhere in the body from the original occurrence. Unfortunately in Emily's case it seems that time was lost at the early stages but that's not a criticism.... we all get things that we think are minor and will go away in time. Unfortunately that's not always the case and Emily being so young and active would have been vulnerable to the cancer spreading. It's truly frightening how melanoma can spread and become a life or death matter within a few months.

@sean919191 Жыл бұрын
Maybe you should become a cancer researcher if it’s so straight forward
@anyaw3408 ай бұрын
Medicine is wonderful, but it doesn't make doctors gods. They can't do the impossible. Humans get illnesses that they will die from. The type of cancer that Emily had is particularly deadly, and actually down to both medicine and Emily's own strength and perseverance that she survived so long with this cancer. Lastly, you can't say what you will do when you get cancer until you ACTUALLY have it. It's such an extreme situation that you have absolutely no clue until it's actually you, and not you just hypothesizing about what you WOULD do.
@djnoneofyourbusiness5258 ай бұрын
There essentially is no cure for cancer.. Cancer can be a complex thing to treat and manage. I say even though Emily went through a lot, she lived her life to fullest despite her circumstances. If I ever found myself in the same situation, I hope I’d have the same drive and positivity. That’s all we can hope for.

I’m waiting on seeing a skin specialist atm but as I can’t afford a private doctor I have to wait to see a public specialist the referral from my GP states that I have a number of signs of melanoma but they told me it’s a 10-12 month wait and due to other health issues I can’t work so I can’t afford to see a specialist sooner and I’m so stressed out , I’m worried that by the time I get to see someone it may be to late to do much about it, I have a daughter but her father committed suicide a few years ago so I’m all she has and I’m terrified that I won’t be able to have any treatment to prolong life by the time I end up seeing someone. I feel that what I have isn’t good and the more I read the more symptoms I have so I’m trying not to read anything else, if anyone reads this please pray for me. Wow, where do you live? I had a suspicious mole and went to the doctor and the cut it out 2 days later. There wasn't anything wrong, so it took serveral rings to get the results bc they only really rush getting back to you if there is something wrong. My friends mum has skin cancer - not melanoma- and the removed it straight away. She also has regular checks now. None of this is private care. All free

Wow, everyone complains about US insurance but how we have it is we go anywhere to anyone we think may help us. If we see a mole we go to a dermatologist, give them our Blue cross blue shield, from work, school or private..@ 75 quid a month, and if we see an ad for a drug like keytruda a cancer drug we go to the doc tell them we want to try and be put on it and ask them to prescribe it, as long as the Dr writes the script the insurance is obligated to pay, some drugs do have a copay but with the goodrx presc. Card all co-pays are 75-95% off.
