There's also an episode of a series called Voices From The Grave that dramatises some of the events from the Berkeley Square haunting - that's also on the channel if it's of any interest to you.

Sorry, but I absolutely hated this one. The woman has so huge a chip on her shoulder, and I hate all the Americanisms swallowing up our British culture (e.g. stairwell instead of stairs) so I prefer the older recordings. Maybe I've missed something by being unable to stick it to the end, but her diatribe of venom and speculation - well, I just couldn't get past it. Sorry again. I normally love your uploads, and this is just my opinion, of course, so no 'dislike' or anything. Thank you for the channel.

Not at all - you're certainly not obliged to like everything and I appreciate you qualifying your comment. I do understand that sometimes things like language can be dissonant and make it difficult for us to engage with something - I myself have started to notice figures of speech and choices of vocabulary in TV and radio that feel very 'off' to me, either as imported Americanisms or glaring anachronisms. However, I suspect that this is something that happens to every generation - I can remember watching Points of View as a child and hearing viewer complaints of a similar kind. Come to think of it, I think I was often reprimanded by adults for similar language choices... However, if I may defend this play for a moment I was very taken by its ultimate argument about the 'truth' behind the famous mystery. In that respect I found it rather persuasive and clear-headed. Not that I'm saying that you should try and listen to it again - you have your preference, that's fair enough - I only offer this view in the spirit of discussion.
