KAGOSHIMA, JAPAN - Today we’re eating at a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant!
Mawaru Sushi Mekkemon Dolphin Port (廻る寿司 めっけもん ドルフィンポート店) - goo.gl/maps/SJF5Mb6PX7pZf1jg7
I was doing some Japanese food research for Kagoshima and came across a very popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant. My family and I have always enjoyed conveyor belt sushi and so we gave it a try. Turned out to be one of the best Japanese conveyor belt sushi restaurants we’ve tried - really good quality, portion size, and affordable prices. Definitely when you’re in Kagoshima, Japan, give them a try.
Price - 7,183 JPY ($54.10) for 3 people

A handy tip when having kaitensushi (and most sushi places). The slices of ginger (aside from being a palette cleanser) can be dipped into the soy sauce and then used as a 'brush' to coat the topping of the sushi with a thin coating of the soy sauce. Easier and less messier, as you aren't getting the rice wet with the soy sauce.

Hi Mark: First, a big shout out to your wife and son. I am very impressed at seeing you being a great family man. I do hope that all is good in your marriage and with your son! A couple of questions for you. First, I think that you are giving your son a great foundation and understanding of the world. He is seeing more in his first and formative years than most kids will see in a lifetime. You are to be commended for this. I would like to see more of Ying and Micah. Is Ying your cameraman/person? What plans for education do you have for formal schooling for Micah? I love watching you guys! Again, I would like to see more of the family. (I've been a fan of yours for years.) Oh man, these vid's are so effective! You got me so hungry and craving sushi and sashimi that I haven't had in a long time, that I put the video on hold, looked up my local Japanese restaurant here in Hilo Hawaii on Saturday the 29th of August 2023, made an order and went and picked it up at 9 o'clock at night. This after a horrible flare up of gout on my big toe knuckle all day, I deserved it.
