If you are looking for some awesome base locations over on Ragnarok then make sure to give this a go! This will show you some awesome rat holes, cave bases, and awesome build locations to go for! For official, unofficial, pvp, pve, small tribes, medium tribes, large tribes, alpha tribes, this should help you all!!!!
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

Turn on your location for your map! It’s always off and it’s so much easier for the noobs to see where its at or to get an idea of the general location

46:40 people had a problem with the entrance of that cave. If you were to go in or out the other entrance to that tunnel over by viking bay, there was a chance you could lose your character because as soon as you went in NO MATTER WHAT consle or brand new bs you had you would have a large chance to lag and then get kicked from the game and if you tried to log back in you would lag right back out without even having the chance to move or see your screen. Just instantly logged back out. And you would never be able to get back into the game on that character. And it's only recently last year I believe when It supposedly got fixed so I guess people still fear that bug. It was a huge problem for officials no clue about anything else

The big ragnarok cave actually has 3 entrances. The one you showed. There is another one at the side of that mountain near the sea. And there is one underwater entrance in vikingbay.

Yeah that spot he he was showing was actually the base location of the alpha tribe in our server until I finally found it and texted my tribe mate and our allied tribe. It took us about 8hrs to fully clean out their base. It was the most intense night I've experienced all year. They had at least 50 heavy turrets and 30 plant turrets. We spent about 200 rockets and 1000 grenades. We lost about 10 Rex's, 5 wyverns, and we died about 10 times all together. Then they had 4 lv 300 rock golems, 6 lv 300 gigas. Then they had an army of about 30 allysaurs running around through the whole cave system, and other dino's. They had a tek farm, and like 30 vaults. They obviously got rich because they wiped out the whole server raiding everyone. 7 solo tribes got wiped on day 5 of the server so we ended up joining together and made two tribes. Everyone else did their own thing. But that alpha tribe had 15 people and to our surprise no one was online since they're from the UK and it was on a Saturday night. Our 4 people from both tribes together had a huge disadvantage due to not being able to build as fast as they do. But we wiped them out took many tames, and resources and now we're both the alpha and omega. We're not assholes like those guys are so we're letting people build for a few weeks. But I have to say. That cave is a mother fucker for sure.

Most of these spots are really easily found by people with esp like the ones 31:25. any spot like that will get found in a week or so on smalls.

So the murder snow cave I based their solo for pretty much a month.... It's really good but you def need at least 2 to 3 other people. But tons of metal near by also like he said if you can get heavies up raiding will be a bitch with the cold but also a negative for your tribe as well( no flak armor can with stand cold). Def would need to increase fortitude

I've been playing since before the release of ab and it isn't even funny how many of these spots I didn't know! As someone who regularly builds on rag, it's disgusting. I've recently moved to official ORP and it's horrendous because all the good main spots are taken and I'm solo so I had no idea where to build and welp my calls have been answered. Oh and 44:40 my world do I love that spot, currently, ZGLL is built in it which unfortunately means I will not be building in there until further notice as I do not currently have the means to wipe them. In the tunnels, I've found there to be three entrances, one on a cliff, one inside the castle through water, and one in the moat area outside of the castle all of which can be pretty secured. there are some GOOD little crevices solo and small tribes can build in but It should be noted IT IS HUGE and a journey in between each entrance which makes defense horrid so if you are small I recommend choosing one of the many crevices and building there and staying with that, but if you plan to expand stick to your area until you can FULLY build, that's a mistake many people make, don't build in caves unless your ready and can build up defenses for each entrance. What I like most about it is if you don't build in the cave and its unfamiliar, it is so easy to get lost which can be used to your advantage, but there's room for insane amounts of breeding, raising, tps, crafting stations, and anything you could dream of, the tunnels for the entrances are quite long, perfect for a great deal of spam and death walls making raiding a process. Since any base can be raided offline your goal is to make it as annoying as possible, resource-heavy, and time-consuming as you can to either buy time until you can get on or to simply make it not worth raiding. This is why it's important to make sure you're ready to build in it. Oh, also visibility in there isn't great so if you have some battery-powered heavies on the ceiling or in the walls, it'll be hard for enemies to spot which can be said for both sides. TL;DR: Op spot suited for big tribes mainly but tons of good places for small tribes, natural defenses, lots of room, lots of opportunity for good defenses.
