If it is 100% biodiesel unlike here in this video "the grade B100", the engines might need an upgrade in the long run to operate healthily with biodiesel..(might need) Also biodiesel does not contain sulphur "absolutely none"..where if you know about the problem with sulphur in conventional diesel you really know the issue...

Ruchira's discussions were about the stock product being pure plant oils which obviously isn't sustainable(100% agree...duh!!!)...but dilina in this video mention about 50% replacement of conventional diesel consuption in srilanka and in his later video with harendra, explains about the steps in using "used" cooking oils and that he expects to collect and locally produce biodiesel to be distributed among agricultural sector, essential services etc..also he(this dude dilina) has "always" mentioned that as the feedstock for his biodiesel, he project towards using "used oils/leftover oils" which is completely different on what science with ruchira page discussed and referred as a summary to his entire video...well part of it said that it is unsustainable to collect used oils to mass produce at one place but hey this dude says he can produce 1M MT so why debunk his implementation without even knowing how he's gonna do it(collect resources)..in his video(science with ruchira) he mention about the net cost for the raw materials are about 2. Something $ per liter where he consider unused pure edible oils as feedstock for his calculations which obviously is unsustainable...also ruchira in his particular video didn't mention about other oils sources like endaru and other plant oils which need absolutely very little care with water and resources although produce huge amounts as yields with oil meanwhile he mentioned about using algae to become sustainable in the long run(true)..but hey didn't he mentioned that the investments are in their early stages and research is still young?...atleast few days later though he did mentioned about endaru on a discussion at tv derana.. Conclusion: dilina made calculations with used unedible leftover oils where he didn't mention on how to collect all leftovers from around the country as raw materials(only drawback) while for ruchira's calculations he used pure oils which are still edible and assumed that the collection of leftover oils is unsustainable.. So now think yourselves.. Biodiesel is extremely sustainable for srilanka and extremely cheap may the raw materials come from algae/plants or other means with right people with their eyes wide open..the people who comment about biodiesel being unsustainable and unapproachable is srilanka are who either dont know their sciences, out of their senses like those naa baa people or cr#pheads related to srilankan petroleum mafia
