I had b18 on 15 psi. Around the same power level and i can tell you is great power. If you ahve the right side turbo that it can make power from 3k to 7k you would love it. My advise is .48 trim turbo.

You actually took your time with the install and correctly fitted and built the turbo kit, that's why. Too many people rush to put the turbo on and immediately go to 15+ psi and blow it apart before giving it a chance. There's no reason it should cause issues if you're running 11.5 psi and not driving like a crazy person lol.

@@SnoozeVert well can you blame them? You pay $30k only to have your V8 American muscle car beat by a tiny little Japanese 4cyl. I mean the hate shouldn't be excessive, but jealousy is expected. Honda doesn't design for raw power, they design their cars for quality and eifficiency. Proper power to weight ratio is a key part of designing an efficient and quality car. And while they're at it, they make their designs simple so you can get even more power if you put some parts into it.

Dude this is a super impressive build! I built a custom turbo kit for b18 in highschool. Probably had 2-3k into it and I dynoed it at 170hp. I had a lot more problems than a few exhaust bolts backing out. I had a friend with a b17 swapped into an EG civic and that thing was insanely fast. Wheel spin in 4th gear is insane!!!

I started with a P28 ECU that I socketed myself, and my buddy did a street tune with Crome Pro. Then I bought a Hondata S300 V3 and I installed it again myself, and it works mint. I also bought the Hondata CPR kit and I am running a billet custom valve cover and coil pack mounting plate ($1000), with Accel coils on a fully built LSVTEC with a built, cammed, B16B CTR head with a Garrett dual ball bearing GTX3582R. My car makes 612 whp on it's current tune.
