Good kit! I have the sabvoton 72100, qs205 3.5t paired with a 72v 60ah li ion batt on one of my 26x4 mountain bikes. It will max out at 62mph and is a blast to ride with tons of range.

If your battery were mounted in the frame, you likely would not have the speed woble. The weight would help keep the wfront wheel planted. Great vid. Thank you for sharing.

I was thinking the same thing and it was also concerned about how he doesn't go flying off the back with all that weight on the back anytime he accelerates. But still a cooler build than mine.

Nice experiments. Ergonomics, wind resistance, tires, waterproofing & frame seem inadequate for this amount of weight/power. My setups vary by make, manufacture & design. My most agile has a combination steel & angled coil over, which combined with powerful regeneration & weight distribution, corners like is on rails. Unfortunately, for this setup is the location of the 72v & openness of the wiring…can never have too much water protection, especially on an electric bike. Lastly, I’d imagine these types of e-mtb builds to evolve in terms of seat ergonomics & comfort. Gone seems the use or need for pedaling on open canyon/curvy roads. I’m waiting for an individual or company to come up with the perfect hybrid that mixes the use case for those that want the option of physical exertion of the combined lower extremities. Holyfuck that is fast you should wear some type of jacket if you skid and fall at that speed you will lose your skin. look a bit unsafe over 50mph all it takes is one nut to come lose .
