I just LOVE your looks and the outfits you create and the way you explain how to get these fabulous looks. And the pink outfit, just WOW!!!! I will definitely check out the beautiful Ana Luisa's website (gorgeous!). I do so believe in great posture too...I like to keep my monitor screens up high, and even when I'm in the car, I like to keep my rear view mirror a little higher to remind myself each time I check it to sit up straighter. Thanks, Deirdre, for these wonderful tips. I've seen some models wearing oversized clothing this season and, like you, I think it just makes one look frumpy. I've learned that you don't have to spend a fortune to put together classic and classy outfits. I find many lovely higher-end name brands at thrift stores. Elegance on a budget!

Alas, I do not have good posture It runs in my family and I am definitely over 50. It’s so hard to remember to stand straight and carry yourself well At least I try to always remember when getting a photo taken Have you done a video about how to position yourself for photos? Hi there Deirdre. Loved your 10 tips. All useful, attainable and beautiful! Like you I’m a petite side being 5’ 1/2” so the all one color look is perfect for me and does look elegant and chic. My mother was a stickler when it came to posture. Everyday on my way out the door she always told me to sit up straight, don't slump, hold my shoulders back, and keep my neck inline with my spine. I even practiced walking around the house with a book on my head while practicing my posture. In my mid teens when she knew I would start having occasions to wear high heels, she insisted I practice walking around the house, going up and down stairs in an old pair of her heels She stated if I didn't practice I would certainly fall and embarrass myself in public. I would even do my weekly house duties in heels just so I would never fall and embarrass myself in public. Good posture, and walking in heels, two things my mother taught me, and I excelled.

Super terrific video! I would like to wear anything that you showed. I especially liked the 2nd outfit the dark wash Jeans with that darling sweetheart top. One thing however I would have liked to have seen is a different style shoe. I cannot wear those type of heels. I feel more comfortable with a block heel or a bootie especially as I am 5 foot 8 inches and getting older. You looked fabulous in all the shoes you wear but they are just not for me. Please share your thoughts on other types of shoes with your great outfits. Thank you for a great video.

Jennifer, Fair skin is beautiful, too! I used to hate mine and would tan, tan, tan and thought the tanned skin looked so great. But tanned skin from the sun or a sunbed is unhealthy. Now I love my fair porcelain skin and have come to embrace it instead of fighting it. Natalia Sunny Arizona
