Actually he subtly keeps his 'clean' image and doesn't actually deal in drugs. He cause no one to be killed. He only steals shady character's money and then cooperates. Perfect.

I can relate. I lived in Miami from 81-87 and my favorite past time was finding where that days episode was being shot. All you had to do was find the production caravan and I had an "in" with the crew. A lot of the official police props came from where I worked. Those were definitely the best days of my life.

I was obsessed about Miami Vice. The day of this shoot I ditched work in NW Miami drove north up 95 to Dearfield Beach and hung out on site all day. You couldn't get close to any of the main three stars (Don, Phillip, and Phil) but everyone else was very friendly and accessible. When the camera wasn't rolling you could take photos of everything. Awesome day. Since it was all shot local I was always looking for the production trucks. Many times I found them and watched another episode in the making. The best days of my life.

@@512Sonny Just scoped out your KZbin page because I received a heart. By all appearances you are fond of racing and Miami Vice, which leads me to wonder why you don't have a video clip of the Miami Gran Prix episode from Vice ? It takes place in downtown Miami on Biscayne Blvd in front of Biscayne bay, though I'm not sure if it is still an ongoing event. That was really a hard shoot to crash I can assure you, but, I was obsessed and I eventually found a way. That was before cellphone cameras though I went through two rolls of film. You should definitely Google the episode and add it to your page. Footnote: There were many scenes throughout the series featuring the beauty and speed of the two Ferraris and those would compliment your page as well. If you're not sure which clips best represent, I can help you with that. Like I said back in the 80's...TGIF Thank God, It's Friday LOL

@Mark Craven Another nice insides! Nice that you've been checking out my content. As for now, I have 4 Miami Vice music videos. I'd love to do more, but as you see, this a rendered video, made from several clips and put on top a covered Jan Hammer tune, taking lots of days to complete. You cannot just upload unchanged copyright material, so you are not allowed to upload such clips nor the original music, which limits the possibilities. However, I have a plan for a couple more music videos, but my goal is to get another 1400 watch hours to be finally monetized - so this year there will be more sim stuff and hopefully next year the music!

@@512Sonny Talk about nice insights, your replies are the closest I have come to information on just what the KZbin police do and don't allow. Where is a concise list of policies (in non-leaglese) to be found ? Why can pages be found with full episodes, concert footage, movies, cartoons, and who knows what else? If I had been aware of these barriers I would never had inferred your page was lacking, I was just selfishly enhancing it to my benefit. I guess I was subconsciously molding it into a page I would find more of what I wanted to see. My bad. I guess that's the reason KZbin has a watch later and favorites function. Btw, did you happen to notice one of the yuppie hipsters by the pool with three watches on one arm ? Can you believe that was a "thing" back then? LMAO.

You are a sharp listener, Sir! But as rightfully credited in the description, the music used in this video is a Jan Hammer cover by Rick Leon (it ain't me), who happens to be not active on KZbin, so I decided to make a proper music video for some of his tunes using also the remastered Blu-ray footage. I think it's great that there a people out there like him (or for example Dadrian Wilson, who was also influenced by Rick Leon), to recreate these tunes, that were missing on all Jam Hammer releases up till this day. So getting back to your point, I got to admit that his remakes do sound a lot like it's been produced by the Maestro himself. Adding some footage to it, makes it this much more special in my view and it gives the chance to reach a broader audience. I published a total of 4 music videos like this one (two in 2018 and two in 2020) and I'm planning to get back to work for some more releases very very soon, as there are many more audio samples to use.

@@512Sonny Thanks you for your extensive reply, and of course your work and uploads. I guess I'm a better listener than I am a reader :) so thanks for setting things straight. I LOVE Dadrian (and his wardrobe) and because of him I got a KX5 keytar myself, finally, because I never were able to identify that thing before. I'm open to usage of unoriginal sounds but Dadrian and Rick really take the cake with their auhentic Hammer sound (and Dadrian's improvisational skills in Hammer's signature soloing style are nothing but spectacular). Always in great anticipation of every next upload!

@@512Sonny I'm trying to get my studio up and running early next year, mostly 80's synths & drums; until then I try and connect with people I like and admire, hopefully even to collaborate one day. You see, as a drummer in mostly the rock scene I've never met synth people (we are a solitary lot) so now is the time to make up for that. If not the music, the aesthetics of the 80's alone offers a lot to bond over ;)

Dude he's been famous for music since the early 80's, he was a rich man living in mansions with more coke and pussy than anyone could handle if he wanted it. He's acting here but i can assure you that he lived a way cooler and wilder life than anything he acted like he did in the show. I guarantee to this day if he wanted it he could still buy half of Columbia or just make a phone call to a fan down there. The parties hes been to and thrown and had thrown in his name, your being a silly goose calling this man a fake.
