We finally dig the forgotten Vw Bus out from the NH stream. The rusty old split window Bus moves for the first time in decades! This buried old car has been sitting over 50 years in the woods.

I'm thinking, you need to get a Heliocopter License to get some of these cars. Looking like you're in Vietnam trying to get to soldiers in distress 😳

You got 1 of them. You could always spend the night in the abandoned farm house, if you had to. It didn't look at all haunted. Beetle juice beetle juice beetle juice.

I'm not a VW aficionado so I do not see the redeeming value in that. I am hopeful that you'll video your wife's expression when you bring it home.

I was thinking ten minutes to the end, his luck is about to run out ! - the rain and wind will arrive and ten steps backwards ….. and it happened !. Well done Jason, you’ll get ‘em ! ……
@almclean483513 сағат бұрын
It’s nearly there. Got to admire your determination. Winch on the front of the tow vehicle might be handy. The 15 window will be easier, you’ll have learnt a lot getting the first bus out
@CGW1113 сағат бұрын
Glad to see you build a simple sled. The wheel chocks worked great. Watch the weather forecast closely. It looks to be very difficult to work there when wet. Since the bus has large holes in the floor it might need to be wrapped when on the trailer, so that you won’t spill small parts everywhere.

I would weld up a frame 3 feet wide or more with 4 pneumatic tires that bolts up to the frame horns for situations like this. It would come in handy many times over.

I been waiting months to see these buses dragged out, not disappointed. I admire your determination, well done 👏

I was hoping! I was cheering! I was YELLING! I was so glad when that Bus started moving. Your ingenuity paid off. I really wish I was closer. I'd love to help in this adventure. Ignore the "Why askers!" Keep doing what you're doing. It's all going to be worth it. I'm amazed at how good the nose of that blue Bus looks. Can't wait for the next video. Take care of yourself.

It is ready to load says Jason. Well it was but you didn't count on the water under the truck. Seriously though you ARE heading in the right direction. I would fill in some of that track with dry soil if possible, that would make a BIG difference. Yes I know it is easy for me to say I am not there after all but I am giving you 100% support Jason. Take care and stay safe. 👍👍

Since you Recover So many VW’s make a Willie’s Type Fender with a Flat bottom and weld 2 Bars that Cross the Bolt Pattern like a ❌so it’s like A Snowmobile Slide or it will Make a Triangulated Slider on Old Steel UpsideDown Fender, Weld Flat Stock Steel drill Holes in the That You can Run Longer Lug Bolts through into the hub Lug holes and can bolt them yo can even Make it Height Adjustable with Holes higher up the VDUB So light 1/8 flat stock steel is plenty strong that the Hub can Slide along in
