Oh my gosh, the original The Vanishing at #1! Along with that, Threads, Kwaidan, and Night of the Hunter are some of my favorite films in general. Brilliant list ♥️ Great channel.

'Kill List' definitely takes an unexpected turn, reminded me a little of ' from dusk till dawn'. Neil Maskell is one of my favourite British actors, he's outstanding in 'Utopia '2013, which i highly recommend.

One of the scariest and most disturbing films I have ever seen is a 2006 French movie called 'Ils', also known as 'Them' which is the translation of the title. This film stayed with me for a very long time and I have never rewatched it because I am too scared to! You should give it a look! (she said with an evil laugh....)

Thank you for including Autopsy of Jane Doe. I believe it's a highly underappreciated horror film.

Pretty broad definition of horror it seems, but a really good list regardless. One of the ones that really made me say "Horror? Really?" was Night of the Hunter. As I considered it for a second though, I can appreciate it being considered horror. It certainly has many of the base elements of a horror film.

I'd respectfully disagree with freaks and man who laughs being on the list, there are horrific moments that happen in it but they arent for their core tone horror movies.

Not included but should be: Thirst (2009) I saw the devil Black Christmas (1974) Shutter (2004) REC The orphanage (2007) Satans slaves (2017) and it’s sequel is decent Superdeep (2020) The Night House (2020) The Shrine (2010)

Steve Railsback as Manson in the original 1976 version was creepy. Jeremy Davies in the 2004 remake was quite good too.

What? Irreversible is not included. I’d say that would be easily a top 3 slot. Maybe he has never seen it. One of the most horrifying murder scenes and to put the cherry on the cake the rape scene is distressing and realistic as hell. Nobody would really know the horror of rape until they see this. Apparently a lot of people walked out on the movie because it was too much. The head coming in contact with a fire extinguisher got me totally flummoxed as to how the director pulled it off because of how realistic it looks. At first they used a dummy but it was not good so instead incorporated CGI instead and you can’t see it it is that good. Not for the faint of heart. The story is told backwards like in memento starring Monica Belluchi.
