Now we know why Korey didn’t want to do both jobs on the day before cause he knew for sure he wasn’t going in to work for this job, he got caught in his own lie. Some very nice houses in this area. Bri did all the work on the removal in this job and half of the install, practically could’ve did it yourself 😂. Great job as usual by the team. Personally, I favor running the oil lines high instead of floor level just due to lower possibility of damage. I also stopped following tank specs since I retired, so no double checking the Granby web site. Nothing in this industry changes quick except for EPA regulations and inspector's moods. Funny side note: Was watching a preview for the Scooby-Doo movie here on YT and scrolling to the comments it was obviously the comments for this video. How YT got your comments connected to that video is beyond me!

What about using a small outdoor shed to enclose Granby type steel tanks? The appearance, protection from weather and corrosion AND reduced connections / tubing / etc exposed for the neighborhood kids to “play” with. In the more “ghetto” neighborhoods, the copper theft temptation could result in a potential environmental catastrophe.

I always wondered if a small tool shed would fit over a tank then have a plastic pan under the tank in case of leaks, they make a outdoor containment but it is crazy expensive.

Building a shed over a tank generally leads to a damp environment and more condensation, which means rusting away sooner, not to mention a haven for critters to move in. Painting it to match the house or placing a short piece of fence in front would be the better way to hide it.
