I have jewelry from my late mother’s collection, and I have been learning and learning jewelry values. I want to make sure I don’t sell something inexpensively that is worth a lot of $. The reason the value of her jewelry is so important is because she was so fond of jewelry. I want to take advantage of her love for jewelry to sell and give the sales profits to my Father. I just found this video today and it was wonderful! I cant believe you found Barbara Bixby in the wild! I adore her jewelry, have a ring. I could only afford it because it was her QVC line and it was on ez pay, lol. The Glassy Baby you found was an early one, they dont use that mark anymore. It was likely a factory second. They used to have a sale once a year and sold the seconds. They were still expensive! I used to go but could only afford one or two pieces. I know some sell for $100's and average $50-$75 but honestly, thats pretty much retail. The bi/tri colors sell for the most, they retire certain combos.

Believe it or not - there were two pair of Bixby earrings that day. Must’ve belonged to the same person. I sold them a while back on eBay - they had pastel briolettes - if you look back at my eBay sales videos - it’s easy to see cos it’s on the thumbnail cover. Also! Thanks for the Glassy Baby info. I was thinking it would sell for much more. Interesting that it was a factory second, it definitely had weirdness. So thankful for your comments. 😊

Great sales, Sandra. Picked up a Swaboda brooch at an estate sale for $7.00 and flipped it a couple of weeks later for $140.00. I have found that if I trust my eye as well as my instincts, I do pretty well. I would have actually peed my pants had I found those Bixby earrings. They are stunning. God bless you and your family.
