At least the Italian government try and make it possible to help people starting off in the housing market. They'll see ruins transformed into liveable houses once again and this in turn will help the local economies by introducing families back into their community.

none of this .... costly provision, reserved for a few and with many jobs done badly and costing a lot ... the 110% was therefore canceled and will never exist again. The boys were good because they were two architects and therefore in the sector but for most of the people, not in the sector, problematic situations arose. Furthermore, once 110% was over, the credit freeze meant for many half-finished jobs, incomplete jobs and therefore uninhabitable houses ... A DISASTER

He did a longer video about it that has a link in this video where he is giving a brief explanation. But as I understand it, the government will give you 110$ for every 100$ you pay in taxes if you do a renovation like theirs. But they have low taxes and this wasn’t a big help to them. Banks have high taxes and need this tax break. So they sell the tax cut to the bank for cash. Then they have the money they need to renovate, and the bank has the tax cut they need. But you might want to check out the longer explanation in his other video.❤️🐝🤗

The sweet black dog needs a comfortable bed to rest especially since shepherds are known to get callus on the elbows and legs from hard ground. It would be nice to set up a covered awning outside with bed and water so dog will be away from dusty construction and feel safe and reassured as he patiently waits for house to be completed. Thanks for sharing your journey and hopefully soon we will see the finished project. I just came across your channel. Amazing project. I am doing a similar project in Tuscany. I bought an old stone house about 4 years ago and spent 75K for the building. The structural work was done by builders. For the roof, chains antisismiche, doors, reinforcing the floor, windows, plastering, water, electrics, gas I paid around 125K leaving me somewhat broke. So am doing the rest of the work myself. The house has 2 floors. The living area on the first floor and the ground floor divided into 2 cantine. I have just finished pointing the stonework on the internal walls on the ground floor. It took bloody ages, using a saccapoche, and countless sacks of murostuk. I am now almost ready to lay the floor in the cantine. Then will build a kitchen and the house will be almost ready!!

Thank you for sharing this very Informative costing video. An expense that often is not budgeted for is the cost of registering the property into the new owners name. Your decision to spend money on those professional skills is also very wise…. Potential renovators need to understand the limits of their abilities. Although I did at first think that the cost was more than I expected, it really isn't because of the Covid time frame during building, and also this home will exist for what I believe will be far longer than the typical type of homes that are being built now. Hello! My name is Leslie Ann. I am an American women, married and we live in Florida, USA. I am 74 years old and have just found your channel and am enjoying watching you undertake this MONSTROUS project. I started watching at about video # 20 but have gone back to the beginning and started watching from video #1. We Americans tend to be nosy and want to know everything about what we are watching. So, even though it is none of my business, I am curious to know if you are in a business partnership or just a friendship or something more. You seem to have a great friendship with each other and, based on your sharing about working together on the original project where you met, you have also worked on a farm to earn money for buying a project on which to work. So, it seems that you have been "together" for a few years. The reason I am asking, besides being nosy, is because in one video, you answered questions. One of the questions was "What will you do when you have finished the renovation?" You both responded that you might sell this house and start another project or use your experience to begin doing renovations for other people. You did not say that you would want to live together in this beautiful home that you have just rescued. So, your responses caused me to wonder about what is important to you as individuals and also what is important to you as a "couple." But, maybe you are not a "couple." Whatever you are, you both work hard and product amazing results with this project. I feel you will always succeed at anything you do, whether together or as individuals. I will continue to watch your videos and look forward to seeing the house and the property when it completed. Best Wishes to you both. Regards, Leslie Ann

Oh, I'm SO happy! That's wonderful!! It's so nice to see people who love each other, working together for a great result!! I want to tell you, especially Maddi, that many years ago, I lived in Italy for a short time. I was involved with an Italian man I met while he was working in the USA. I went to Italy with him to see if we could make a life for ourselves. Well, it did not work out, but I LOVED the time I spent there. We lived just outside of Roma, in a little place called Ostio. I did not work there as I could not get a VISA to do so. Mauritzio did work there. During the day, he worked in Roma and I took the bus into Roma to travel around and see what there was to see. As I was 37 years old at that time, and I am 74 years old now, that time was half of my life ago! But I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a wonderful time of my life.

You are fantastic, still young and already have an incredible life story and for what you have already done and for your qualities and skills, I admire you. As for the costs, these are clearly an investment, firstly because of the increase in the value of your home that you have so well rehabilitated and then because with this excellent example that you have made known to us in this way, you can take part in similar projects all over the world. If I could, I would call you immediately to help me rehabilitate a stone house that I have in the interior of my country.

Bravo

With all the work you have done yourself, it feels like a large cost for parts of the build, and then we have those specialist's ( we call them the Divas of the building sites - the electricians and the plummers), The way of getting the subsidies through the bank was new to me.... But in a total you are getting a very nice house with an astonishing view for a decent cost, with many nice memories (doing the building yourself gives you VERY nice memories, I know that) and reusing housing that would have been unused otherwise is large...
