Your MagicHold Laptop and Monitor arm mount is practically identical to my Viozon setup. For $90 bucks this avoids the $400.00 Apple ripoff for a height & angle adjustable monitor stand. Good info on the Studio Monitor VESA mount, which IMHO with the arm mount setup is the way to go for a premium monitor like this. Are you running your Mac as the main display and the Studio Display as extended? What (scaled?) resolution are you running the Studio Display at? Have you thought about a Thunderbolt dock vs. that USB-C hub & desktop charger?

it's unbelivable how much people feel this irrepressible internal needing to always criticize every little detail. In my opinion it is useless to buy a 120 hz monitor or above if it is not necessary for your work. it's simpler to but for example a monitor like this one which performs better in static images. (plus the fantastic colors, brightness, simplicity of cable management, built in speakers and camera...) Same story for the keyboard and mouse...these ones are much more ergonomic and for professional use

Everything looks great except for the keyboard, which doesn’t fit this setup in any way. And in general, there are probably some buttons that don’t work, some don’t work as intended

Actually the Keychron K2 is the best mechanical keyboard I used for Mac. All shortcuts on it work well for volume, brightness and media control.

@@ToolsElectroDIY for that price range 120hz would be nice. MacOS feels so smooth with high refresh rate. Using my iPhone 14 Pro and Macbook Air M1 at the same time, the refresh rate gets a bit annoying on my macbook.

Nah I agree with you I love that mechanical keyboard. The apple keyboard is nowhere near as good as the mechanical one. The magic mouse is a joke of a mouse.
