i actually really like the T8 fold at 46 mins, think most villains will put there bluffs (such as QTss; JTss etc) into a block bluffing range on the river as its easy to balance with there pocket pairs that can certainly go for river when you have showed weakness on the turn. when you generally have alot of giveups by the river these blocks are much higher EV bluffs than bluffing for larger sizing, thus making the larger sizer unbalanced and weighted towards value

in my sim its a very large mistake to fold it, too big of a deviation imo. Bluffs aren't unreasonable to find, lots of floated unpaired hands to choose from. As for your argument that a human would think a block is higher EV as a bluff, not sure thats true. A lot of people might mentally not expect a block to fold out A high, so they go larger

It was a very intuitive hand, hard to give much arguments around it, if my intuition says fold/call specialy at a lower stake pool i tend to just follow it. I do agree that the bigger the deviation from theory is, meaning that the EV of call is very high, the more we potentialy make a bad fold, but thats kind of the risk of making exploits in general, so the stronger your feeling is the bigger the fold you can make. (great advice wakko, i say sarcastic :D)

Regarding the raise at 22:50. You say it's really close to being a value raise instead of just a call, but then you raise 72% instead of 50% which is generally the smallest size (and oten used) used by the solver when raising river. Can you explain why you would default to any other size than 50% here when going for a very thin value raise.
@renekhm
@renekhm 2 жыл бұрын
Yes in theory i agree, and lets say he went block block, i would have probably raised 50%, however i didnt feel like his line was very theory aproved (as i later showed in the analyses) and instead of just thought he would be very 1 pair heavy, plenty of potential bluffs from my side so intuitivly a bigger raise seemed better with the information i had

@@renekhm Thanks for the response. Block->block line should also be very 1 pair heavy, so is the difference, you feel, that since this line is not very theory approved, that it would likely be more face up and have less traps than the block->block line, thus justifying the bigger raise?
